After a brief respite, we are back in the cold freeze again. 60's have given way to 10 degrees with wind chills down to -15. The only good part of this is January is just about half over.

For us here, January is usually colder, but February is usually snowier. (is that a word?)

It is a word now that I understand it. I don't mind textspeak although I do prefer proper language. If a child can express himself well with textspeak and not penalised for petty reason, I am all for it. That's why the French pinched the word "weekend" .. I felt so embarrassed that this French girl could remember to add another e to some verb conjugation when it comes to the case of female. There is no point making people feel inadequate for reason like that. She might be very clever at something else.
