Wimbledon starts
Andy Murray has pulled out, I don't think that he will make a come back, getting too old.
I agree, much of his game depended on his ability of getting the ball back. If you can, you can't lose can you?
The hip injury and his age are against him. It's a wise decision.
I was impressed with Caroline Wozniacki beating Aryna Sabalenka, to take the Eastbourne title. Her opponent was a tall very hard and accurate hitter and could move around the court quicker. But Caroline sussed out and played to her opponent's limitations and I think was fitter and had more determination. But Sabalenka, at the age of twenty will become a much better player.
I thought it was really humiliating for Caroline when she got dumped by Rory McIlroy, shortly before their wedding. But she bounced back and is now engaged to a former American NBA basketball player.
It made my smile that she took the trouble to put on her huge engagement ring before accepting the trophy.
