Hi,

You're most welcome Upsy. (y)

I didn't know anyone watched Eastenders; Bron and I watched a couple of the early episodes and it made us want to jump from a bridge. I've not watched a soap for well over 10 years and Bron doesn't watch any soaps at all now saying they are absolute rubbish but then so is TV in general; thumbs up for Gardeners World.

At 6 o'clock this morning I watched a couple of YouTube woodturning videos whilst having breakfast; when Bron got up I switched over to BBC 1; two minutes later Bron switched the TV off saying FOOTBALL.:mad::mad:

Kind regards, Colin.

I like the fact that Eastenders addresses certain (worrying) issues and portrays them in a way that brings the painful aftermath of such horrid crimes to those who commit them, and shows the consequences that they ( hopefully) will pay for their awful deed!
Knife crime is the current one.....it may or may not make a difference....but at least they are trying.(y)

My son's friend was murdered last week with a single unprovoked knife attack by an intruder in the middle of the night!!

Why oh why.!! He was a school friend....such a lovely boy
My heart is crying for him and his family.

But if such programmes can make ....even 1, young person stop and think and ditch the knife they carry...then I applaud the Eastenders script writers and all the actors for their very emotional and heart breaking portrayal.

Good on you all....keep up the good work:)(y)

Yes it was...I am still numb. Knew about the murder last week when it happened, but didn't realise who it was.:(

Such programs might not stop the 'hard nut' ring leaders, but just might have enough effect to reduce their ' followers '. If they have no followers....then the ring leaders will have a reduced 'power status ' as they will have nobody to 'lead' anymore. Thats the dream anyway.:((y)
