Good morning to all and especially to @MaryMary and possibly @Larisa

The morning was very very kind! We came to a country house on Friday night. Again it was raining with snow. :sneaky:
I found mint and small currant leaves in the garden and made tea. The husband lit the fire in the stove. So we just sat and talked in the evening. And scolded the weather, of course. :cautious:
But Saturday morning woke me up with sunlight. It was very warm yesterday and today. We did a lot in the garden. But not all, of course. Spring is late for us, but the weather forecast says that we will not see snow any more.

You guys must have some different kind of forget me nots over there! :cautious: o_O

The first year I lived here I planted them, and they were a much darker blue. Not only were they not perennial as the seed packet said, but they did not self-seed, either! (Granted, I had done nothing to amend my soil - we moved in in June, and I was in a hurry  )

I gave up on them. :(

Maybe I will try again. :)

@MaryMary I will take a close up of our forget me not for you tomorrow. Ours could be annuals, but they just self seed like weed! If you love it and have space, why not. They are good and frothy ground cover. Very nice indeed!

@Larisa It's so surreal to see your tulips just coming up whilst ours have died off. Lovely and clean primrose and the peonies are doing very well.

@Verdun When I read what you have done, I feel so ashamed. My cosmos are still 2 inches tall. Thank heavens they haven't died. Being that TALL, I have nothing to pinch. Some dahlias have been caught by the frost and some are hanging on because of the drought. Only one begonia Amber glow has got flowers, but I chopped off the various branches for propagation. It's all very sad this year.

@Upsy Daisy I have 3 minutes of intense rain and then just drizzle. Before that, it was very hot.

Good morning, @Upsy Daisy Can't blame you for being smug! It's drizzling here. So I just pulled out all the pots to get some rain water. If this drizzle continues for the whole morning, I will be pleased. My afflicted sunflowers are still in pots. I literally have run out of room!

@Upsy Daisy It's only a game. I'm only making up the number. I've no intention of winning. I will join in this month's photo competition, but could never find the url for that thread!

Went out in drizzle and snapped these

Will try again later when the weather is better as the red hasn't come out right!
