@Larisa A lot of people have dogs and yet not all of them keep them because of companionship, like Logan. They are like badge of status. Quite a lot of them look vicious. When I walked my son to school when he was 6, a dog suddenly rushed out very energetically and my 6 year old was so scared he ran into the street and the dog chased him all the way to the school and I gave chase. Thank heavens that there was a car coming. Normally, some parents drove their kids to school if they live far. The owner, another girl from the school told my son that it was harmless. Harmless or not, to be chased like that was no laughing matter. When my friend and I were walking along the park, a dog just jumped all over us, leaving paw prints all over my winter coats. The owner said, "He just wanted to say hello, by the look of your face, it's like you want to eat him!" How uncalled for was that. That's what they called add insult to injury! I love dogs as long as they are well behaved.
