No worries @alp , I'll answer to whatever I'm called :D:ROFLMAO::D:ROFLMAO:.

I've got use to walking every where as we have quite a walk to the nearest bus stop, so find it easier to walk the whole way:). Even though hubs is home all day now we only use the car for longer trips or shopping. Although I passed my driving test many moons ago I've never really driven as I always preferred to walk, and it certainly didn't do our children any harm either as they learnt a lot during their walks to and from school, whilst most of their friends whizzed by in their parents cars.
It became my biggest 'selling point' when I ran my childcare business from home , parents loved the fact that we walked every where and found that their children had lots to tell them about what they saw or heard or even smelt during our daily walks. :D:D.

I've was brought up with dogs as pets, my dad still has one, But the one thing that really, really annoys me is when a dog owner with a large (ish) dog, says to a child ( who is often hiding behind me) 'Oh don't be silly he only wants to make friends with you' as their dog tries to lick their face and pant all over them. I find myself constantly reminding them not to forget that to a small child their dog is a giant !!!!!

@Upsy Daisy All that walking must have helped you. The trouble with me is that I haven't walked enough. I think you will get quite a bit of rain tomorrow and Friday. But the weather reporter Tomas Shafenarker has been stressing that it would be hit and miss. I am 100% sure that where I live, it will be a miss!

With my son's case, it the the unexpectedness and the bundle of energy that frightened him. I'm going to post pics on Osprey thread.

Upsy Daisy, I'm always careful with small children,a large dog can be very frightening. I always make sure that they want to say hello, before I let my dog go up to them. When we had Bracken, I had to be careful with babies in pushchairs,i had to stop him looking to see if there was any toys in the push chair. That started when a mom who had a dog, let Bracken go in her push chair, with the child in it. She said oh it's ok, our dog does that. But i always have them on the lead, because of the roads.:):)

He died last February.

@MaryMary That's the kind of translucency I was talking about. So pretty. I would stare at the translucent pink, blue and stand there like an idiot. My neighbour always teased me that they couldn't talk back to me. And you had RAIN!

I was very mean and I put all the newly bought irises in pots, thinking I would move with them. Some died because of the intense heat and drought. Now I keep watering them, hoping the water will bring out the bloom as that was what happened before to a plant neglected in a workshop. I should have planted them in the ground. What's wrong with me? Now apart from the yellow one, I have a dark blue flower coming up, not the translucent see through colours that I'm after. Yours is so lovely, translucent all the way though. Thank you for sharing!;):)

Good morning @Verdun Sunny and a tad warmer here in Essex, but no rain. I just watered some critical plants. A day of watering. I reckon @Upsy Daisy has had some rain already.
