Alp, it's supposed to get warmer, but wet on Friday.

WET?? I will believe it when I see it here in Essex.

I'm cold now.Up until now I have refused to put the heating on, after all it's May !! ......but it's now back on . Low tonight of 4 , just checked and tomorrow's low was suppose to be 4 but is now 5............it's warming up, BUT....next Mon / Tues we are having a low of.........11 !! .

We are suppose to be in for a ' light shower' on Thurs at 1pm . It had better not be late......i'll be waiting with every pot. pan and containers in all shapes and sizes and not forgetting our 5 water butts and 2 large plastic bins..

I have a throw round my legs and refused to turn the heating on. But I fell asleep several time watching Countryfile, county Durham. All the sieving has taken its toll on me. I literally lost consciousness while the iplayer was working on full force. Wonder if I could sleep tonight

@Upsy Daisy I don't believe it will happen here. My area is allergic to rain! Last time when rain was predicted, I pulled out all the pots and containers. In the end, it took me 3 hours to return everything to its place.

I've got a fleece throw, hot water bottle and heating....still cold

Well, in half an hour's time, I will be in bed. So the cold is bearable. Also, the living room faces west and is the warmest place. Tomorrow, I must sow the beans as I have promised my friend some seedlings. She gave me some Kaffir leaf seeds which came to nothing! What a shame. Love it's aroma!

That was mean of me @alp ..sorry Just had this vision of our gardens full of containers and then us rushing around trying to return them all

Next time when I am dead tired, I should have watched Versailles instead of Countryfile. The naughty scenes will probably stop me falling into oblivion! Haha!

I wish I did! But that's another episode. I must seed the beans and salad today and eat some as well. It is sooooooooooo chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilly! The sun was very bright earlier.

Lovely sunny morning , survived the nippy night, from now on it looks like the temperature in on the way up

Sorry @alp just spotted your last post to me last night. Yes I sorted out the orchard border before I under plant with some summer bedding..Then I spent ages dividing huge clumps of primroses and distributing them to new homes around the garden.

Probably won't get to do much in the garden today as I have a hospital app this morning then going on to visit some friends
