@Upsy Daisy It was very chilly and then at 4, it was very sunny and hot. I didn't do much either. Planted out the reduced primula and viola. It's so pretty. Saw the newly planted petunias being attacked by slugs and snails, so put quite a bit of coffee around them. Hope it will work.

A few photos

Saw a little wagtail with 4 pigeons on my lawn. As soon as I opened the patio door, all the pigeons flew off except this little bird.

Very kind of you Alp, will have a gander at the Allium stall for Hampton Court, now I'm not an Iris man but blimey the yellow one is stunning! apologises for the delay on the water tanker, only had a few drops here about a week ago. I believe your yellow geum is Lady Stratheden :)

Is there only one yellow geum? I wouldn't be able to tell. I will call it so and stick a label to it. Thank you for the name.

@Upsy Daisy I was wondering what those letters were doing. Hehe! Is today WNGD? Far too cold!

All my plants are pathetically weak and tender. No point killing the half dead!:D

Only you and I have had no rain. Even Mark56 had a bit.. The world is against you and me, Daisy!

Lovely weigela. I bought one, but it is red. I wish I could get a variegated one. Daisy, why didn't let us see your lovely irises in full image? Such lovely and mature shrubs. I haven't got one of these and that's why my garden looks so pathetic. As Monty said, big trees or shrubs provide structure.. It's a bit late to think of that now.

That's gorgeous. Irises are indeed beautiful. I saw @Cassie K 's blue iris and the light blue of the top petals are just out of this world. Soon, you and I will be growing nothing but irises as they are so drought-resistant. They love the heat and don't mind the lack of water. Shame the flowers die so quickly. @Upsy Daisy Definitely need more photos from you. ;)

As for rain, just like you, I will believe it when I see it.
