Upsy Daisy, it did hurt when I did it and before I had the plaster on. It feels a bit sore, because they put one of those stretch bandages on first. Going back about 15 years, I broke a bone on the outside of my left foot. That really hurt, I had what they call a moon boot on for 6 weeks. But I could get around with that. But I didn't walk the boys. We had 4 then, OH would come home at lunchtime walk them and go back to work.:(
Alp, lovely pics as always. Not sure of the pansies/ violas.:)

Wow, such dedication on your OH's part. Thank heavens that you only have 2 to walk now.

Some pics

A common pansy, but it's so perfect. I could help myself.

Repotted some Blue Fountain bamboos. And have prepared some compost for hibiscus mutabilis seeds tonight or tomorrow.

What's happened to your sunflowers, @Upsy Daisy ? Is it because it's too dry?

I have quite a few going and will transplant them into bigger pot. Mine is Teddy Bear as I like the look of it. Previously, I had only Spanish Bluebell. I ripped them up and there might be on growing at the back. Shame the pink ones are dead as well. I do like the pink one. Now in its place is my acer. I'm so chuffed that one bluebell actually flowered this year as I bought it late this year when they were reduced to 50p.!

Alp, lovely pics as always. Yes it is, it wouldn't have been good at all. It was nice having so many, but a lot of looking after and now we couldn't afford it.
Upsy Daisy, sorry about your sunflowers. :(You could do some more, it's not too late.

Would love to see some of yours @MaryMary !
:( At the moment I have nothing blooming. I suppose that should make me happy, today on the noon news they said we have a possibility of snow this Friday. The overnight lows on Sat, Sun, and Mon will be getting down to 33°F and 35°F.

The temperature converter on my phone tells me to tell you .55°C and 1.66°C. ;)

Zone 6. :cautious:

Good morning to all: Another grey and cold day. Shocking @MaryMary weather condition. Snow??:eek:. I guess I shouldn't complain. First time have the heating on for 15 days I think. I have now raised it to 21.5C. Just thinking of @MaryMary 's weather makes me freeze..

@Upsy Daisy Glad that you have another chance .. I will wait till the weather is better and plant mine out.

Morning Logan, alp, MaryMary and everyone else.
MaryMary ,don't envy you that......and I thought we were cold here!!!!
Logan that's a lovely thing for them to do!:)

We have our heating off too alp, except for the front lounge, I like that to be warm for the evening when the temperature drops back.
Yes I may plant some more but they will be way behind everyone's so won't bother now with the competition:(:(.

What's everyone up to today then, my plans ( ha ha...if they happen!)
are to do a bit of grocery shopping after my Physio session and then resume preparing - weeding/ mulching the remaining small flower beds ready for planting out..........won't be long now:D

Have a good day .
