@Upsy Daisy Don't you just want to cry when Verdun's bragging about heavy rain during the night and glorious sunshine whilst we have nothing but dreary cold, windy and chilly weather to contend with?

But watch out, Verdun, neon blob is coming your way on Saturday or Sunday!:eek: I could do with TWO of those neon blobs.. The whole garden is crying out for rain. Yesterday, I swept up a bag of leaves and repotted some bamboos. Today, I might sieve the Levington compost which has RECYCLED materials added in. Saw @zigs compost heap - really envious of the fact that he has a massive area to keep the compost mountain whilst I had to search for crates .. Wish it would rain .. all overcast as if heavens were mourning..:cry:

Yes I may plant some more but they will be way behind everyone's so won't bother now with the competition:(:(.

@Upsy Daisy, you might not make tallest, but you could have the biggest bloom, or the most flowers or something charismatic, so don't despair!! There are 4 months 'til the winners are chosen. My sunflowers are about one inch tall right now, and could die this weekend, but I will try again if they do. (y)

I haven't planted the ones I think will be charismatic yet!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

And you know, you could get tallest!! @Beth_B won the competition last year, and her temps are a little colder than mine!! If I remember correctly, hers was a volunteer from under a bird feeder that she let grow in her asparagus patch!

Shocking @MaryMary weather condition. Snow??:eek:. I guess I shouldn't complain. First time have the heating on for 15 days I think. I have now raised it to 21.5C. Just thinking of @MaryMary 's weather makes me freeze..
 21.5C??!!

Oops, I mean... 70°F??!! (I just went and turned my heat up!) I had it at 64F/17.7C, but you made me think I was cold, so I put on a pair of socks, and bumped it up a couple notches!! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Going to be a hot few days here. Was busy from 7am to 9pm yesterday and another busy one today. The rush is on, people popping in to get their plant orders in. They snooze they lose, except for a couple elderly ladies that I always set aside plants for, everybody else is first come, first serve. And no more sales after June 1st. If a plant isn't sold by then, then it's been planted and I'm done.

@johnny canoe Hope you make a lot of money. You deserve it. Love your single petunias. Love your "They snooze and they lose"!:p:D

I think I've missed the season now. I have seeds some petunia California hybrids, but I'm not optimistic. Won't buy seeds from them again.

@Logan That's so sweet of your neighbour. Was it the one who saw you fall? Sweet gesture. Best is not to have a fall, of course. I'd better not say that as I'm not very steady on my feet myself. Only took two Neproxen and both legs have been aching.

@Upsy Daisy You've had a good day? I have cleared up my garden by returning all the pots and watering most of them. Oh, dear! Water water water.. Imagine what Vishu has to put up with gardening in 41C... You know, Daisy, johnny has 26C! What's wrong with our weather?

I know @alp , it's really getting quite desperate now, all plants ,in both pots and borders are in dire need of some water :(:(

I've just checked out our 10 day forecast and there isn't a drop of rain in sight.

Even at Motisfont we noticed that things were looking droopy:(
