They're all great. The Isaac Newton house, must have been dark inside. Those small Windows. Don't know what it's got to do with Gardening.

Good morning to you, Logan and others.

@MaryMary and @Vishu1708 It is a planthopper called Lanternfly or lantern bug. I remember it because of it elephant trunk like nose and I have seen a real one., with beautiful wings when they are spread out. Sadly, the village is not home to tower blocks. So it's just a memory now.
Wow they look so interesting!! First i have ever heard of them:love:

A little bit of autumn colour to brighten up a successful day of hedge trimming!

Wow! Love your echinaceas I bought some seeds all the way from China fire Firebird which looks like yours.. But only one germinated.

The blue asters are gorgeous. I have only ONE lone aster flower:eek:! How sad am I? That was from last year. I nearly pulled them out, thinking they were the nastier version of Michaelmas daisy .. Lookism always win, even in gardening.

@Mark56 You're so clever, the warmth from that wall is going to give your flowers a very good show for a long time. How do you manage to capture a butterfly?. I usually run with them and then give up as they go into someone's else gardens...

I wish I had bought something last time I was in Hyde Hall, but it was to save £5 out of £40 spending. Couldn't do it as Ex was clamping my style...

Talking about my ex. He said to me that I had more flowers than Hyde Hall .. Well, yes and no.. I only have tons of big dahlias which are a bit in your face.. Hyde Hall had more flowers and they were clearing a lot of stuff away and by the look of it, we might not see any wisterias next year as they were trimmed to the main trunks..

All my echinaceas have retired and some seedheads harvested, so I share some more holiday snaps with you.

This is Davidia Involucrata - handkerchief tree or ghost tree.
Mine has been killed by the severe heat this year.

Great that there is no rain in NE, @zenji .. Don't think you want any H2O inside or outside the house!

Someone suggested plastering my son's ceiling and even the thought of water in plaster and inside the room freaks me out!

@MaryMary :sleep: well! Shame you've to clock off.. Don't have any idea of these pretty alpine flowers as they were cultivated by Cambridge Botanical Gardens - a massive complex. But parking was a nightmare!

Been to the Liverpool and Birmingham ones as well.. Lovely holiday destinations.

The apple tree and the falling apple. Without which, he might not have worked out the law of gravity!

@johnny canoe This is the closest I can see the woodpecker. So good looking! Next time, it might even take a selfie! So confident looking at your camera.. Did you really take it with one hand? Must be very hard taking the photo. Thank you for the hard work!

Planted out my 50p chrysanthemum. Very good looking plant. Massive and striking.
