Good morning folks :)
Helping my niece move into her new home this week startint today. Today though will be mostly about watching the guys fit carpets and flooring. I will install the tv though.
Dry here
I transplanted an astrantia yesterday...a big clump still in flower and happy with its new position. It is a variety called Jumble Hole. It prob is the longest and tallest flowering variety with white flowers speckled with pale green giving an impression of little gems :)

Good morning, Logan. I nearly fell down the stair as I had forgotten the bag of wall paper .. Very mild. Had the living room window open by half an inch to dilute the air .. a bit cold sitting here.

Wonder if I should buy an incinerator £12... Need to get rid of a lot of wood. A lot of headaches trying to fix the house for the market.
Morning @alp are you ok? Perhaps you could sell the wood. Save you buying a incinerator, you might not use it again.
Just been moving the sound system to get to the radiator. Had to vac the carpet, never could get to it. Clean the skirting board. Hubbys worn out now.

I know. When you paint the house, you will find spider webs in unreachable corners. Two days ago, a brazen spider dangled itself right in the middle of the doorway. The 2nd time it clashed with me, I said to myself, "That's it! You're to meet your maker!" The following day, newspapers talked about the invasion of super spider in the UK!

There is no other papers which will refresh their stories so frequently. I read it but I hate it with equal measure. It's corrupted by the Trashians...

Had the 3 rads replaced, half done taking the curtains up. Barley got so worked up with everything going on,he drank so much water, that he had to go for a wee and he stood there for a minute doing it. When we had the bathroom done, the floor was tiled aswell. But after a year there were 2 tiles with cracks in. Today the man replaced them, but couldn't get them the same level. If we wanted we could have the whole floor re done. It means getting the toilet out, but they won't charge so we said yes. Don't know when.

Haha! I know I shouldn't laugh! But boy, Glad I'm too poor to keep dogs. What if they wee d on my carpet?? Or got an infection?:eek: I used vinyl for toilet floor and tiled up to the ceiling for bathroom. £1 per tile. It was so near, but I still love the tiles now .. 4 years after it's done. Two different workmen liked my bathroom.

To lay tiles is hard work. Of course, your floor must be level now. But still compared with vinyl, tiles is hard work. I don't think you need to take the whole toilet out. They just work around it.. They don't want your Barley to wee everywhere again! Poor Barley! Can't you leave him somewhere nice and warm to let the sleeping dog lie?
