@Vishu1708 Is that your birthday? 17 August?

I am like that too. I love clematis macropelata and when I saw two, I bought the two. I also want an heir and a spare when they are reduced. That colour is so unique .. Wouldn't it be nice to see them next to black pansy or deep red cock's comb - what's it called again?

Good morning to all: started the washing machine and hopefully there will be some sunshine to dry the clothes. Went to Wyevale over the weekend and all that left were veg seeds. I got another Nora Barlow mixed, some chrysanthemum, and some others.

Haha! I know I shouldn't laugh! But boy, Glad I'm too poor to keep dogs. What if they wee d on my carpet?? Or got an infection?:eek: I used vinyl for toilet floor and tiled up to the ceiling for bathroom. £1 per tile. It was so near, but I still love the tiles now .. 4 years after it's done. Two different workmen liked my bathroom.

To lay tiles is hard work. Of course, your floor must be level now. But still compared with vinyl, tiles is hard work. I don't think you need to take the whole toilet out. They just work around it.. They don't want your Barley to wee everywhere again! Poor Barley! Can't you leave him somewhere nice and warm to let the sleeping dog lie?
@alp they will have to take the toilet out, to make it all level.:)It does look nice with all the tiles. They had to stay in kitchen, where the water bowl is and he barks a lot.
Barley is very well house trained and i could tell that he wanted to go out.:) I just took him for his walk a little earlier.:)

Crikey, so dark, you had a little walk? You meant in the garden or outside the house? So dark I don't even want to get up, but had no idea of the time. My rudbeckia gold star has perked up and I'm so pleased that I got it for £1.

Morning folks :)
Another day helping with house move but hope to get lawns cut later ....a dry sunny day (y)
Plants bought online expected too so hope to pot them on. However, taking my lawn mower over to cut grass in the new home.
A cursary assessment has given me an idea of some planting to do there too.......a row of lavendar, a scented white clematis, a camellia for starters:)

I thought you had all the plants needed in the world, @Verdun ! Another delivery .. How exciting and the house move is also exciting.. So much flux and it's nice to move to a new place. And you're enabling her to have a sweet and fragrant start! Bravo!

Morning all , how's everyone today?.

@Verdun I hope your family appreciate you and know how very lucky they are !!!!
I expect you will also find it very rewarding planning and getting a new garden up and running..... now exciting!! . Is it a new build....that can often entail hard work unearthing rubble!, ,or an established one that requires some tlc? Mmm..... established means lots of lovely surprises!!:)(y)

Terrific Tuesday to each and everyone:Dx

Thanks Upsy
Yes, new build but it looks like builders have been very responsible. From scratch though is quite exciting. Talking to new neighbours yesterday the ground is hard but not rubble filled so should be ok. Also have a daphne odora aureomarginata I grew from a cutting to plant there. Yes, " fragrance" is the key word alp.:)
(My niece lost her mum when she was 15 months old and I have kinda taken that role as best I can. A death like that never really goes away; a legacy always felt at major times)
