Hi Alp, I hear ya. Two glasses of my next door neighbours home made wine and my face turns beet coloured. Two more glasses and I can't stop myself from cracking jokes and trying to get people to laugh until the tears come. So I'm not much of a drinker, party years are well behind me.

Cor, I have found a brother! LOL! I have heard in a documentary that some Chinese are not very good at taking alcohol as we don't sterlise water with yeast or something that. We boil it instead.. I am one of those who can't drink. One glass and my whole face goes horrible purple or beet colour as you put it.. Thank heavens for that, we have enough drinkers in this country.. Apparently, Last Man Standing is a popular pub game .. and universities is a breeding place for alcoholics..

I love the 2nd photo
This begonia without a tuber, on the roots. She grows up at my house, and I make cuttings for country home every year. Love her!

That's lovely! Larisa: you're so knowledgeable.. I am no expert in gardening.. and I have never heard of begonia without tubers...:eek:;)

That's a lovely plant.. Amazing how happy the plant is.. I wish I could grow something like this.. When I saw the number of plants I have killed in my lean to today, I told myself that perhaps I should stop messing about..

This is a common house plant here. It easily gives roots in the water and readily blooms. This is a simple begonia.
Here Begonia Belleconia is grown in recent years as well. I especially love Chardonnay.

Just a feature of national flower markets. Probably, every country has something interesting. And we, gardeners, are doing a small introduction. We help plants to travel from one gardener to another. They can not sit in one place all their life. :D

Decided against watering as the grounds are still a bit OK. Just went outside to have a look and there was dew on the grass and it's so snippy out there.
1) Going to gather some stinging nettles to make soup. Going to get a big kettle of hot water to do this..
2) propagate some armandii
3) air layering my acer
4) more petunias using livingston compost..
5) more salad leaves seeds
6) pick out the self seeded sunflower seeds for competition..

Morning alp and Logan, another lovely morning

No more seed sowing........I must resist!!

Lots of potting on to do instead, that will keep me busy, I have 45 varieties of plants sown and they are all growing like crazy- about 500 little seedlings. Not sure where they are all going to go, but will cross that bridge in a months time.:D

Have Physiotherapy today so that might slow plans down as I usually feel a tad tender after being pulled about !

Alp ......I have one Sunflower seedling!!:D

Happy day everyone x

Haha! @Upsy Daisy those numbers are terrifying.. How come mine are dying.. Would love to see a photo of your milk bottles..

I have about 12 sunflower seeds and one in a hanging basket below the bird feeders.. Haha! That's a cool way of growing sunflowers, from birds' feeds..

Consultant told me he would refer me to a phyio as well for my knees..

Just made another stinging nettle soup and the stench of the previous one is still hanging all over me:eek::eek:.. Yuck..

Lovely gardening weather.. Have the feeling that it's going to be boiling on Sunday 23C Ahhhhhhhhh..
