Don't know what Night and Day, if it's a sweet pea, yes you can. You might not get as many flowers. Just been clearing the old kale plants to plant the next ones. OH got chicken manure pellets for the kale. We've just done the walks, had a cup of tea and apple, going back out to finish off.

Thanks Logan, I'm soaking some at the moment. It looks very pretty in the picture, has contrasting blooms in white and burgundy....fingers crossed :D.

How is Barley doing, has he got over his tummy upset OK.
Spoke with my Dad earlier and his old Labrador is worrying him abit today ,she has good days and not so good ones. On Monday she greeted me with a spring in her step, almost doing somersaults!!! She is a rescue dog and he has had her for a couple of years now, but she will be 15 this year , so she is an old girl now but beats all the other Labradors my parents have ever had.....12 to 13 yrs was the norm.

Have a good day, it's so lovely out in the garden today isn't it.

Come in for lunch - been watering, watering and watering.. All the plants in the small bedroom died due to the heat.. except begonias... Hurrah! Some are alive and doing well.. 4 begonias with big leaves..

@Upsy Daisy The weather is just ideal for gardening.. albeit I was watering in the kitchen.. All the honeysuckles have turned green with new shoots.. Thank heavens there is something to hide my tatty old fence.. Hope it's staying that way when son is here.. for the week. Might go to NT properties, but too early for flowers..

He's better now thanks, back on his own food. It's sad when you see them getting old. We had a goldie 16 years. There were a few things wrong with him, but the main one was he couldn't stand at the end. His the nerves in his spine was going. But 16 is a good age.As you say 13- 14 is the norm.

Good morning everybody,
Yesterday afternoon I started in on potting up Tomato seedlings. Today I want to get the lawns raked and fertilized before the rain comes in a couple days. I need to reclaim some of my walkway in the backyard. I've let the lawn grow over the past few years and the walk has steadily become narrower. Once it's warmed up today and I can open the doors and vents in the GH, I'll take my daily bike ride.

@johnny canoe Glad that you have used your days wisely.. Not me. Lunched and no tea and caught up with Murder in Italy.. Soon a rush of blood to the stomach + Italian and DNA, I found myself drifting in and out of conscious and blamed the docu for being so long.. In the end, I gave up the ghost and dived under my duvet.. Woke up an hour later, more DNA.. Turned out to be a riveting story. If you have time, it is still on iplayer.. I might re-watch it again as I still don't know what's going on...

Have been sowing more seeds .. and watering.. and watering... Sunday 23 C... Dear me.. !

Larisa: How are you? Have just a bit to upload

I have some morbid obsession with the blue flowers of rosemary.. Don't ask me why.. There seems to be a little person in the flower who wants to speak to me...

I love Fimbriata fringed begonia.. I have kept some tubers from Glowing Ambers, but I don't think they have survived.. Similar to those shown by @johnny canoe but orange in colour.. I had a big pot last year, but didn't look after the tubers well, so they might have bit the dust.. Do you grow any? Love to see the Russian versions.. Hehe!

@Logan: What do you mean? Tea yes, wine no.. I can't drink alcohol. My face goes purple and it embarrasses those around me seeing my face turning purple ...

If I'm going to watch another Italian film, I will make sure I have drunk a lot of water and with NO food before or during the film.. LOL!

I love the blue aconite flower. He looks like a carriage and horses.:)
I really love begonia. I grow a tuberous begonia, an ever-flowering, ampel, without a tuber and Gloire de Lorraine.

Hi Alp, I hear ya. Two glasses of my next door neighbours home made wine and my face turns beet coloured. Two more glasses and I can't stop myself from cracking jokes and trying to get people to laugh until the tears come. So I'm not much of a drinker, party years are well behind me.
