The overnight rain has eased.....some sun promised :)
Morning folks:)
Working out plants for my my niece who is moving into a new build home...her very first home. My remit for her....."those smelly plants" (she mean the heliotropes) "that white flowered thingy" (clematis montana Grandiflora) "ooooo, that's lovely" (anemone Wild Swan) plus a honeysuckle, trachelospermum, camellia and salvia guanajuato. She doesnt want anything to cut back??? Clearly she has a gardener with long pockets in mind
Have a healthy day everyone :)

@alp i wouldn't put egg shells in the grinder. I break up egg shells with the end of my wooden rolling pin, to use on the garden.
Good job about your fridge. I don't have a fridge with a small freezer compartment Inside because of that. I used to let it get so bad that i couldn't open it. Then i broke it trying to open it.

Yes, apparently, one video on youtube shows how good it is to have eggshell to deter slugs and snails, but only a certainly degree of smallness. This other woman literally bakes the eggshells and grinds them to fine finder and uses it on her orchid. Amazing folklores you can hear on youtube!

Oh, it has been sooooo hot and humid. And suddenly, the clouds came over and I had to retire my towels again. Been dividing my irises .. and later the hellebores..

You'll be wondering what you're looking at - grass

One of those plants which should grow at the back and yet, they stick out like a sore thumb and stand right next to the paving slabs. Boy, but aren't they lovely and tall

@BigC son wants to know how to clean oil from paint brush please!

I mean NOW! Sorry ..

OK youtube has come to help
Just turps or white spirit, you can build yourself a little contraption to hang the brush in the liquid to clean and soften

We followed this man who used up all the tissue papers

It's a lot of hassle, but son has done it.

I will ask him to look at the contraption as it seems to be very handy and less painful.

Yes, I was sweating for hours planting my hellebores and irises. It was really humid and now it's raining properly. Done quite a bit.

@alp it's pouring of rain, haven't done anything in garden today. Your chilli looks good enough to eat.;) Should be better tomorrow.

I could see your areas had been covered with heavy clouds or rain at the word go. We had decent sunshine and it was a bit too humid .. Just had a shower to remove all the grime.
