Not shy ...C alp:) no further clues, ha ha.
Boxing because my old granpapie was a Cornish champion. Plus one of 3 brothers to come to the UK as children; different accent, the aussie twang so different and a target; . made us prepared to defend ourselves. Boxing was a great "leveller" :)
Be aware alp, not all salvias are well behaved. Many are quite invasive.

People are so weird. They bully others for their accent, hair colours, race and what not. I have never heard of that back home.

If anyone want to contribute. I'm posting some bargains (?) on the bargain thread.

My 50p White Swan has finally flowered. Not bad. But the astrantias seemed to have died on me. Have to wait for the seeds

My hibiscus trionum. Tomorrow morning, I will paint the pollen of this one on my yellow one. Wonder if there will be any happy union.

My white swan is an underdeveloped white echinacea. I love messing about with cross pollination .. just want to see what will come out of it. Might try it with my salvias ..

I think I have created a new thread to do with salvia collection, but now I can't find it myself. @MaryMary if you're still awake (sad!) - how do I tell them about having no notifications please? I must be off.

Here is your thread about salvias. ;) https://www.gardening-forums.com/th...what-other-plants-are-on-your-hit-list.12633/

If you want to tell them that you are not receiving alerts, you go to the "Feedback and Comments" forum and start a thread to tell them. (y)

One thing that has occurred to me about not getting alerts - if you get an alert one time, and do not go to the thread to read what's new, it won't tell you again. So if you get distracted, or have to get offline before you look at the thread, that's it, no more alerts on that thread.

Do you have your alerts set to notify you when someone posts in one of your threads, and when someone posts in a thread you have posted in? o_O

Scroll up to the top of the page here. See the link in the green banner that says "Watched Threads" ? If you click it, it will show you this:

Unread Watched Threads
This is a list of the 50 most recently updated threads with unread replies that you are watching. There may be more to view.

(I think 50 is a default number, I only have 2.)

You can "Watch" any thread you want to, even if you don't post in it. :)
Click any thread you have not posted in, and look at the top of the page. On the right, (directly next to the words "Photo of the month") see the green link that says "Watch Thread"? You can choose to watch a thread, without participating, just by clicking that and following the prompts. (y)

@MaryMary I have all the alerts, but no email notifications.

Helpful as usual. Thank you for the thread. I have now received alerts here, so life is easier. The following day after I created the thread, I had to use control find to find the thread.

I am feeling a bit sad, garden is closing down ..

@alp yes it's sad, but you can look to the spring. I don't mind it, I take it in my stride, i think about the spring bedding i have to put in. Then Christmas, after the new year and we get to February, it starts again. :)

That's why we who garden are happy .. Went outside to get the pollen from the trionum and smeared it on the yellow hibiscus.. Love plants like this - easy, happy, low maintenance and joyous to look at .. a bit like your marigolds..

Morning all...just sat on the computer contemplating and planning this room decor..still at the painting stage...(should be another week or so before I'm ready for the decorator to apply the wallpaper to the feature wall)...hopefully I will have some off-cuts to make pictures with for the other walls to tie it all in....I'm working on the TV/Entertainment Console also and have decided that I need to build another micro computer for additional pleasure as the TV will also act as a monitor..I love building computers from scratch, another one of my pet hobbies ....(which keeps me awake at night):ROFLMAO::LOL: Too much to do will check back later when I've won the Lottery

You're the lottery yourself. Ask your war department :D:p;)
