I tell you - my whole garden is full of dahlias, hellebores, tulips and daff .. and already I am crying for water. @Vishu1708 is fantastic being able to manage with such great heat and so little rain. I have emptied a tiny butt and a bucket already .. Everything looks dry .. I have switched off my vitopod .. no point.
You'll have to get another water butt. Those dahlias will look lovely in the summer, will take some pics? When I was growing up, there was a garden near by, with a lot of dahlias in it, with paper bags over the flower heads. I suppose that they were for a flower show.

Logan: I actually have a spare butt, but I've found out that they are leaking..Honestly, a leaking butt is a useless butt.. So it's at the end of the garden.. doing nothing.

I feel so much better now that I have free ranged them, not confining them to pots.. At first, I used small pots for small tubers and when I repotted them, I saw that some tubers had no contact with the compost at all. So after repotting, I replanted them neat in the garden.. Hopefully, they are not tormented by being confined to a pot...

When I was young, our house bordered one in which the man kept orchids. In the end, I think he migrated to Taiwan to pursue his passion. We used to see rows of orchids in his shed ..

Might do that, but water just disappeared or the level lowered for no reasons.. I have promised myself I'm not going to use too much of my metered water. Last summer, I used £50 more .. Ouch!

Very good morning to all.. Just turned the heating on because son is here. I am pretty sure I can't stick to that wish of mine of not using metered water... Today, I'm going to shop till I drop.. Going to collect some free stuff and then go around to see if there are any reduced plants or compost..

Have a nice day!

Just going through my videos and pics from last summer, thanks to Alp. Hope these don't bore you all. My Petunias and my Tomatoes in the GH.

@johnny canoe Very pretty.. We will never be bored with looking at your gorgeous flowers.. Very pretty, considering them growing in pots.. Never easy to achieve such splendour in the border, not to say in pots.. That massive white ones outside the greenhouse is simply spectacular!

How do you upload your pics, johnny? How come all my photos are followed by thumbnails and all that malarky?

Just watched the video..Had to mute the sound for fear of waking up son. Amazed at the amount of tomatoes you grew. What are they called. I tried my Tomatos de krime .. and I have no idea where the tray of seeds is.. Beautiful petunias and I especially love the cacti ..quaint and different and I love all cacti flowers.. Just rare gems ..

Logan: All the shops are today, but of short duration.. I have been suffering from withdrawal symptoms big time. After 8 April, I can shop more frequently as son will be here for Easter holiday..

Thank Logan: Very good seedlings. Strong and robust.. Logan: You're so good with your plants.. You're a dark horse! Haha!

Your conservatory is working overtime ... Brilliant work, Logan..

I have some to upload, not very good but I love the morning dew on the petals..

See the morning dew kissing the petals or draping the tulips.. Very sensuous!

Finally, got the cursor in! I want to lick the morning dew..

Shame I couldn't capture the squirrel traversing my lean to and HOP ( a big one - 3 feet) to the workshop top!

So I ended up with these..
