Funny, there is no alerts here .. Wakey, wakey ...

Consumed a few episodes of True crimes and son is now struggling with his fish .. and consulting his iphone at the same time.

It has been a very cloudy day and there hasn't been an inch of rain. Just drizzle which hasn't been enough to wet the ground. ..

Did some of the jam

That took 3 lb of stoned plums. Took me half an hour to remove stones. Managed to repair the bag to put the stones in, to cook with the fruit.Used pressure cooker to cook them, only takes 6 minutes. Then use the base to make it. Do the rest tomorrow.
Been picking gooseberries and got stung on my finger by a wasp eating them.
Just finished topping and tailing them.

Thank you for the tips, @Logan I have got a catalogue from Nyssen, too. I might go for some narcissus .. I really love them. Tulips have a bit a bit more flamboyant for me. Perhaps, some frilly edges. Shame there's no Beechgrove this week. They do compare and contrast what they have and comment on them. I'd love some floribunda daffs and narcs ..and perfume would be nice.

@alp get the narcissi from J.Parkers. I wouldn't buy the blueberries from if you want big plants.
Get from Marshall seeds. There's an offer on for the blueberry.
