Good Morning Logan
Yeah it was formally known as Pudsey Bear rose and was released many years ago for the charitable event..(I lost it in a year of bad frost) but subsequently re acquired it again (after much researching to find it) under the name Bedtime....Hope you have a great day...Raining here.....

Good morning to all. It's a bit cool and breezy and I hope I can get away with not watering anything and hopefully the rain will come sometime in the afternoon.

@BigC That's a fabulous rose.

I have some photos from yesterday.

Some lovely additions from diy store dead trolley

I hope to collect seeds from the petunias.

This rose must be from cuttings last year.

Lilies are so perfect for camera if they are spared by beetles.

@BigC You're such a perfectionist - relax, don't worry about when to mow the lawn. Sit back and say to yourself that you've done a good job. Such lovely handiwork and you should be so proud.

You've achieved more than I have in 20 years as you have the know how. Branch out and make some money doing garden as it will nourish your soul and fire your passion.

I am no gardener. I will let some self seed and deadhead some. As it is early day, i will enjoy the flowers first. But when the weather is dry and fair, I will start collecting them. Love these petunias as they were reduced to £1 or 50p and they make lovely flowers.

Thanks for the reply on the Petunia front...I would love to keep mine going, although they are only std colours.
Yours look lovely.
As for the mowing aspect..I've got this far and as I've gotten older OCD seems to be more prevalent and the need to relax :)..always dashing around at a million miles an hour trying to get stuff done..its why I like my amateur gardening so much but I find it even creeps into this as well...damm weeds and pests send from hell to annoy me hahahaha Paranoia.......lol.....Jobs for the weekend in the greenhouse etc...I need a heated propagator because I dont think the chilli seeds will germinate in the hot house due to the lower temps now and I have a little leaf rust (I think) on the Grapevine and its loosing leaves so I have to purchase a sulphur based fungicidal spray.....stressful or what hahahahahaha

Haha! You know you can raise the temperature of the compost by using polystyrene bottom tray? Rather than buying more stuff. I always try to get the discarded polystyrene trays in diy stores as they keep the ambient temperature a bit higher. Also put your chilli on the highest shelf, just as I put my melon. @BigC As long as you are happy, that's fine.

Morning all, today is the day!!......we should see some...rain!!:D:D

Lovely pics to start the day with @alp :)

Yes thanks @Logan, I have suffered with this trapped nerve since I was 15...I remember the first time all too well and it was at Christmas too:(.
Definitely walking is by far the best cure.....works every time:)

@BigC ,I always use to harvest petunia seeds......wait until the seed pod turns brown and you can see it opening, keep a close check as you might miss this. I heard of people wrapping a bag around a pod to ensure a collection!
I had some lovely striped petunias, but sadly ,as with all the others , they didn't come true from the harvested seeds. Infact one year the whole lot look very pale and wishy washy in colour.......so I have given up collecting the seeds now.
Hope you will have better luck!(y)

Here's hoping for a Torrential rain Tuesday!

@BigC....I've had great success with using good old hot water bottles under seed trays!
How is your grapevine doing..apart from the rust you mentioned?
Looks like it will be a good year for grapes , both of ours have absolutely loads of bunches this year!......yum!

@tbendl Your husband should get not only a diet, but the right treatment. Otherwise, there is a possibility of repetition. I do not know how the medicine works for you. Here, patients receive medical rehabilitation after a stroke. It is important.
@Upsy Daisy and @Logan Good health for you!

@Logan In my climate, Asian lilies also grow well, also ot- hybrids and la-hybrids. I grow oriental lilies in a container in the garden and on the balcony, for the aroma.

Oh my goodness they are gorgeous! I have 1 out near my pond that isn't doing very well at all.
And he has follow up appointments scheduled but because he doesn't need any physical rehab, they said he just needs to get his BP and Cholesterol down, neither are super high so I am hoping we can manage without drugs.

alp I am just amazed and jealous of all the flower variety you have in your garden. I really wish I could send you some of our rain. We've gotten over 10 inches since Thursday and it looks like we might get more later this week. I'm ready for a bit of sun.
