Hello to you all, how are things with you?
Last day of the really hot weather supposedly today. ...phew!

Lovely pics @alp, yes we have had the June drop, nature's way of thinning out! Looks like this will be a good year for fruits all our trees and soft fruits are ladened.

@Logan???, have I been posting pics in my sleep?

That's amazing, the wild roses here are single petals.

Yes, but it grows in different directions very aggressively. I constantly dig out new young plants. But this rose is not sick and does not freeze even in severe frost. If it grew up in your climate, it would probably be a "rose's catastrophe".

@Verdun Good morning ... I'd love it to be overcast! Or, better still, a bit of @Zenj 's neon blue and yellow blobs on Essex! That will ease @Zenj 's chagrin ..

These roses are on a raised bed and is one of the 10 plants left by the previous owner. So can't capture all the flowers..

Salvia hot lips is very happy in Essex

Love them as they will flower even in winter here.

Lily and I have quite a few of them now, including those I discovered yesterday as bulblets.

Morning , we have the same as you here @Verdun , ideal time to explore and enjoy the walled Rose Garden at Mottisfont this morning, Taking my sister with us as she has never been there.. Hopefully it will overload all our senses........esp with their lovely fragrance
