@alp What an unusual flower! It's a pity that the cold climate does not allow me to grow it. I see the seeds on sale, but I do not take risks. :(

@johnny canoe
I like your yellow rose! Especially with blue petunias.
I wonder if it's a wild rose or a garden. Just in Russia grows a white wild rose, which is similar to yours. But it blooms once a season.

It's a bit like our dog-rose, which grows near the forest. We harvest fruits in the fall.

Our wild rose looks like this. This is not my picture, but my rose will blossom soon. I grow it in the garden. It has a strong pleasant aroma.

That's amazing, the wild roses here are single petals.

Morning all,
I will be off and running for the next week or so, we've had a family medical issue arise and to add to that, we are expecting a tropical cyclone to hit us within the next few days. I hope everyone is well. All the flowers blooming are gorgeous. Take care all!

@tbendl - I will be off for a few days as well. Hope everything is OK with you. I'm in the middle of cooking a roast dinner after a disastrous attempt at creme brulee again. It's so hot here. I reckon it is 5 times worse your way.

@Larisa: That's a lovely photo. But I prefer @johnny canoe . Having said that, I don't mind having the one in your photo.

I have never seen a multicoloured candytuft. They are lovely, but tend to grow right next to the path

@alp your Apple tree looks great, expect some of the apples to fall off. It's called june drop, it's just a natural thinning of fruit on a tree. It happens to ours.
