No i freeze them. I have a lot of red, black, white and pink currents in the back, also rhubarb. I make a mixed fruit compote and put it on top of anything else. I do make jam, but with wild plums.

Yes please! I don't have any fruit growing but there is a wonderful farmers market locally that I could go to for ingredients. :) Thank you!

@tbendl Ok. I still measure in Imperial measurements. That's pounds and ounces.
8oz each of red, black, white currants.
8oz gooseberries
8oz cooked rhubarb drained.
11oz sugar, it's not sweet but you can change the sugar.
1.5 oz arrowroot for thickening.

Except rhubarb, Put rest of fruit and sugar in pan, in a separate dish add some water to arrowroot to make a paste, bring fruit and sugar to boil, then add arrowroot, as soon as it thickens take it off the heat. If you let it boil for too long it will go thin. Put in a dish to cool. When completely cool add the drained rhubarb. Then stir it in. I always drain the rhubarb in a seive. If you think that it's too thick, add 1oz of arrowroot instead of 1.5oz next time.

I don't know what measurements you use so hope that it's ok.

Amazing, @Logan and I agree with @tbendl the shrub is huge and laden with fruits. What do you feed them with!? @Logan you surely have green fingers. The recipe sounds delicious. How often do you water it?

Irises are on their way out and I panicked a bit. Took some photos before it is too late.

This vibrant yellow one is more or less my last one for this year!

This funny coloured roses were propagated the year before and today, both of these are in bloom - 2 different plants. So easy to propagate. I love plants which are so eager to please. Wish you could enjoy the perfume!

Thank you @Logan Just a puny rose which I took cutting when walking around a public park. The colour was so different, so out came the scissors and a bag and 2 years running, I have propagated new plants and they have new flowers. I took the cuttings in October and the following June or May, it flowered. Amazing!
