A nice day today at Northumberland animal park with the grand kids
Lovely day out for all, including me! The last animal an artic fox! Very nice!
I had a lovely day out, too. Got some dwarf beans and Toms for free, and got some more echinaceas and one more comfrey which I will separate and plant.
A Shropshire Lad which I had thought was Olivia, a rose given to me. Well, it has either been stolen or it's at the back. Either way, I'm not too bothered.
This year, I.m big on Helianthemums or rock rose

Had the jab very early and went to the allotment and gave away quite a few Irises, vacating the fabric raised bed for tomatoes which I got free from gc. It was baking hot and we left for lunch and shopping and straight after that, it was considerably cooler because it became cloudy. Apparently, 30 days for 30c! I'm in tears just thinking about the looming monster.
Went to bed 9.30pm and slept till 5.30am and I wonder what drugs were coursing my body! The world is sad and chaotic!

I did an hour plus of watering and that was just for the front. Last night, I went out to work at 8 and the mozzies came abuzzing and I was mad getting them away from my face. At the same time, I had to rip off all the sticking Goosegrass, Cleavers or Sticky Willy Galium aparine! They literally took over my garden as well as other weeds. Because of them, I was itchy as well.

Yes, it was interesting to see what your garden suddenly churn out! I went to Costa to get coffee grinds and on the way home, suddenly, hit with the peony Bowl of Beauty! Can't describe the joy and surprise. When I was tidying up the front to clear an area for the greenhouse plants, I saw something dangling down a metal bin and as I suffer from retinal detachment x 2 and Glaucoma, I had to hold the bit to see what it was. There you are:
Clematis Sieboldii
I have always wanted to have one and in the previous forum, I posted that I bought some Sieboldii seeds and others and they did nothing. I then realised that they didn't look like clematis seeds which looked like sperm. I posted the seeds on that forum and someone confirmed my suspicion. I contacted the seller and he refunded me. They were chopped up wood bits!! The horrible thing is that even though the seeds were not from China, there were actually gangs of people selling fake stuff, including SEEDS on some platforms. I bought Hoya seeds from Spain, China, England and they all TURNED OUT TO SEE CLEOMES!
Very pleased that I actually have one. Would I pay £14 for one!? No. I must have bought this as a young plant and it somehow survived. Two sweet surprises in a day!

Don’t know what happened, in Norfolk for a few days change of scenery will do Rhodo garden's and lavender farm plenty of asparagus for sale here so will take some back home,weather glorious..

Don't worry! I still will go over the photos again. So you've the other Trollius as well! So happy to see others' flowers, especially orange poppy and the white flowers, not the Dicentra. I have never seen these white flowers!

The poppy is a Triniifolium grown from seed last year,the white is Aquilegia taken from top.
I saw some woman's aquilegia doubles of different colours and was impressed. Bought some cheap ones from Springtime and they were so awful that I pulled them all up. Yours look huge and the orange looks so nice. They should use your photo to flog the flower seeds! Off to hard labour and the chicken must be cursing me. Cooked some sweet potatoes and butternut squash for them. Aren't they lucky? Or not?
