Morning the heavens have opened and its raining again and is supposed to rain all day . Not been up to much recently other than pot some seedling on , think I'll do some more today while the weather miserable . Picking at the lawn yesterday for weed grass I think its bit of OCD in me when I see Poa Annua or any other weed in the lawn , while sorting the lawn out I heard next door kids call me a idiot they seem to of forgot the window was open, well I am pretty sure they were referring to me. I would of excepted odd or a bit eccentric but idiot not very nice , makes you wonder what your neighbours think of you behind closed doors.

A few pictures I really do need to get some more spring colour . All of my pots haven't done to well this year , I don't think to water in spring which I think has caused my tulips to get stunted and probably becasue of the lasagne planting with other bulbs and I've lost half of all my pansy / viola

I don't care what my neighbours think about me! Why should I? Nor should you! My ex neighbour's kids were idiots. My new neighbour-renter told me that his other neighbour said they mixed with the wrong crowds! I doubt it. It's a deliberate attempt to make money FAST and they even bragged about their nice holidays.. I hope that hasn't ruined your day!

Zenj: What is this lovely bird? With a black head?? Just spent £9 on sunflower hearts! Oh, dear! I need to curb this spending, but it's so frigging cold AND windy!

Perki: That lasagne bowl looks nice and the hyacinths still in good form. I had one or 2 hyacinths and they died about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Went to the allotment and plant some strawberries in a planter, sowed some alfalfa seeds, some wild rocket seeds and replanted some potatoes. Every time I go out, I feel very tired, like there is a distinct lack of oxygen, probably because of the wearing of mask. I felt so lethargic that I slept for an hour yesterday.

Went to British GC and the compost prices were ridiculous. A MiracleGrow 20L for £6.99 and New Horizon for £6.99. No way am I going to pay for that money. Probably because they thought all people in this borough were rich and wouldn't worry about pennies. And that's the reason Wyevale went bust.

No I wouldn't say ruined my day. Next door a rented property it been like music chairs but theses have been there for a couple of years now. Iam still looking for an acer to replace the camellia near the rear window, I were looking for a dwarfish one but I'll probably look towards a larger variety so they cant see so easy into my garden.

I heard a good one today! As you may know, the governor of Texas has rescinded his executive order to wear masks. I was at the feed store where the three guys who work there were wearing masks, as were two other customers and myself. A guy swaggered in and was politely asked to put on a mask (there's a sign on the door saying masks are required). He blustered and blathered about "it's the law and I don't have to wear no mask."
One of the other customers quietly said, "Thanks to the virus and our governor, it's really easy to tell caring and considerate people from jackasses. The jackasses aren't wearing masks."
If it hadn't been for social distancing, I would have hugged him and kissed him on his mask!

I went out to feed my chickens. I used to put some food in the balcony at the other end which we constructed and found that the crippled hen spends her night there all by herself. I then found out that the other hens also found out there was food at the other end and went and displaced this poor cripple. She would moan and look at me in a forlorn way. I would say to her, "What do you want me to do? I can't stand there and shoo away the others!"

This morning, I had the epiphany of letting the cripple and the bald eat first and then after half an hour, all the healthy ones and little bullies can join in. I hope the healthy ones aren't going to peck those two to death because of my special treatment. Those two are so much under weight.

Brilliant! Sorry for quoting the whole passage! I wish I had that presence of mind and gift of gab!
