Had our Indesit for over 10years, and the Bosch 8.
My Mum had a Indesit too many years ago , they had it for 12 years and when it was replaced they gave it to us as we had just moved in here ( 36yrs ago) it worked well for another 6 yrs....even boil washing cloth nappies. Never had any problems with the make at all. Likewise with the Bosch in the garage, the recent problem was that a pipe had corroded because of a small amount of standing water left in it, not using it for a while now had caused the corrosion, but hubs has replaced it now:)

Strange how people have different experiences of things isn't it.

My Indesit lasted only 2 years! Then all the reports of fire related to name and Beko. So always a no-no to me.

Good morning - quiet, mild and dark and I could still hear residual rain water dripping.

Look like a decent day, hopefully, not too dull. Will clear the edge of the border. Need to label the dahlias as they are intermingled with one another.

Went to view a house. Wanted to view it because it said lovely rear scenic view. When we turned into the correct road, it was primary school finishing time. Cars and people and it was chaotic. Then the sun was right in our eyes when son had to park in a slope outside the house we were supposed to see. Went to the back garden and there was no view except a fence. Apparently, the scenic view could only be afforded on the first floor. I was so daff! Trimmed the crazy branches of dahlias - mixed deep red with white tips, dinnerplate orange, pink, Polka and a cacti. All the branches got trimmed off and removed. The tubers are huge. Only dug up one as I am more worried having them dug up. Now the back looks so much more clearer and tidier. One family will have a 2nd viewing on Sunday. When I looked at the sizes of the gardens, the rooms, I realised how lucky we had been.

So true @alp.. you can easily loose sight of what you have. Appreciation only sets in when you have a chance to look around and can make comparisons.

Good morning! Nice and quiet and dark. Yes, @Upsy Daisy can't agree more! Need to move far out to get a decent plot of land. SE is always so expensive. Going to clear up the end of the garden and move pots over there. A lot of pots! :banghead::inpain:

Life can get so traumatic, even of menial things like purchasing white goods !!!!
No gardening for me today as it housework day over at my Dad's, mind you I don't think the weather is up to much, heavy rain is on it's way later.

Hope you get your pots moved before it arrives @alp (y)

That's what making me so ill. I have to move to an empty house. No need to wait. My garden is like a jungle and as you can see, 50 or more pots everywhere. Some are even being buried into the soil. Semi free range. LOL!

Some white goods are delivered very quickly. Co-op and Ao seem to be very good - co-op gives you a 2 hour window and they deliver right inside that window. Thank heavens that you didn't order right before xmas as it would be hell for the drivers. Yes, rain everywhere. A good excuse to relax.

Have I frightened the millennial amongst us? LOL!

Hope @Zenj is OK!?

I had to hunt for the Green Twister seeds, AGAIN! Well, at least, I have found it. What a nightmare! I'm allergic to the name! I have to hunt for them, TWICE!
