Are you going to keep them warm in your greenhouse or window sills, @Perki ?

On the window sills, they will die if they go into the GH, if I had temperatures like yours they would be in the GH. 14'C like summer here  only joking but not far off. Its wet and cloudy with a bit dizzle in the air. Weather for next week Monday Snow - tuesday to friday rain :(

Alp. We have Helleborus viridis but it has not flowered this season as I split it up to take a piece with me when (if) we move.
Also got H. purpurascens, again not really flowered this year.
Did have H. thibetanus, but that seems to have died out on me , sad it is a lovely plant.

Yes, do take them with you when you move. I will dig up every dirt. LOL! Went out and saw the pots holding paeony seeds all turned over.:devil: So annoyed.

I had tons of hellebore seeds, so many that I broadcast them everywhere. Now they are springing up everywhere. People ask me if it's easy to raise hellebores from seeds. I say yes. I chuck them everywhere and up they come! Don't ask me to use pots though!

Funny thing is that some of my hellebores are actually throwing up buds NOW. Normally, they went to seeds.

That's why I don't see the point of having a greenhouse here in Essex. It's a kiln in summer!

Guys: B&Q are reducing their plants by 20% today and Monday. I recommend their camellias £8 with flowers and buds and after reduction £6.40. Bought one for friend to plant in memory of her mum's passing! Enjoy each day ..

Saw your green freckled, really love it. I have nothing of that colour. Suddenly, my whole patches are full of pink ones - must be T&M's Breeders' Choice!:cry::cry:!

Bought tons of seeds from Ashwood and was trying to be careful and use pots. In the end, some died because it's too dry, some drowned. Now I just chucked them onto my nursery bed .. I hope for exciting surprises next year. Hopefully some dark green ones.

Off to do homework now. Remember, 20% off and camellias are a blooming! Love the pink/white ones. Even the white are beautiful - looked like Brushfield to me! Ah, camellias ...

All will be forgiven, given the fact that you need to tend to your other family members. You remind me of my friend whose mum has just gone to heavens. She also has a lot to do and was caring for her mum. 3 children and a job and very clean and tidy. Lovely lady who's always willing to help.

I would give my seeds a rest unless they can germinate under my bed! LOL! As far as i can see, the heavens are still in winter mode for the next 7 days.

Yes I know (y)....I've got 100s on the go. I should really put all my seed storage containers away, as I don't need any more......my eyes keep wandering to them and I persuade myself ( very easily:D) that I should have some of them as well !!!:D:ROFLMAO:

Yes, Upsy, wait till the weather is a bit clement, probably in 7 days' time. When it's cold, the seedlings will fare better. At the moment, the thought of them just made me cry. Wish I had left them in the packets where it was nice and snug for them.

My milk container ones are half hardys.....doing really well in their mini greenhouses....the rest are either in open trays or being spoilt sitting on hot water bottles, I do have electric propagators ....but for some strange reason find that hot water bottles work best!!:)(y)
