Camellias are just captivating aren't they.. they out shine most other plants at this time of year.. they are so sensational that you just can't believe they flower this early in the season. You'd expect that type of a display in the height of Summer not the drizzle of early Spring! I saw a Rhodo called 'Christmas Cheer' (it flowers in March, go figure) but the camellias in the arrangement outshone it with ease.

I must say the pink in my avatar is so delicate and different from the usual red. Thank you for letting me know the name. I wouldn't have given it another look if you had not shown your beauty!

Gosh yes, so much bloody rain! To think last year, from late March until late July we had a total drought here.. 0 rain! a lot of things thrived including the prairie plants but others needed lots of watering! Then I remember the August downpours, the gutters overflowed and the pots got flooded. Good times ;)

Gosh yes, so much bloody rain!

:cry::cry:! Having seen various weather reports, maps and charts, @Upsy Daisy , I and to a lesser extent, you, will be drowning in the next few days.

I didn't want to get up as the air outside the duvet was so cold. Turned out the Honeywell was sulking and I have now changed the battery. But the Ebac is spewing out cold air. Son heard two more petrol bombs in the vicinity.

Easter Monday seems to be a wash out! I can't even take a decent hellebore photo!:cry:

Cor! Love those tarts! So that's what's been keeping you out of mischief, @Logan !

Morning!
A grey and dreary looking one it is too!

What is it with bread lately! We've had a couple of failures recently, one loaf looked more like a house brick!!
Please to say that yesterdays loaf was OK, we thought that we had a dodgy batch of yeast.....but after the successful bake, obviously not.
Don't understand what could have caused the problems:(

No gardening/ greenhouse today as we are off into town for a wander then going over to see friends this afternoon......a day off!!!:D:ROFLMAO:

Have good Good Friday everyone!:)(y)

Yes, we have had several bricks and even the birds or rodents refused to touch it. We left it to dry au naturel until we were fed up with it and in the bin it went.

Shopping day. Tomorrow plant days .. Anybody knows how to store potatoes as Lidl and Aldi are selling them 19p. Potatoes, parsnips and carrots 19p, but the cucumbers put me off these shops.
