Booooo! Can you see me?

Got me very late as didn't have a nap yesterday afternoon. No power snap and stayed very alert last night watching Cold Blood. Every parent's nightmare. A girl snapped by a stalker who stalked and napped and killed. Grown men cried and my eyes teared up .. all very sad .. Woke up to a foggy morn, but not cold. Been out watering me plants. Well, got rid of the water stuck in the sinks. Very annoying. Need to buy Biconbonate of soda, but even Asda doesn't stock them. Let me post this to show that I am out of hiding.

Good morning, Zenj Spring for garlic! Definitely. I love this weather very much. I don't have to duck the heat or the sun or be draped with sweat or oil from my exertion. Shame the sun is now no show. Otherwise, it would be perfect for me. Thank heavens there is no weed in my little tub of waterlily (unfortunately, leaves only, perhaps that's the reason the owner wanted to get rid of it. Yes, a freegled item!) Even frogs prefer to stay hidden in between pots and dwarf walls. Saw some 4 of them along the edge. I hope they spawn in the tub comes spring. Nice to do my bit for the environment.

Going for a very grey day / week

Shame it's not raining. The weather today looks similar to yesterday's when the sun came out at 5.30 onwards. I have got tons of garlic lying around in the salad compartment. Might plant some giant and small ones in the front where it is hot and sunny.

Have visitor today! I will post my duck when it is being dried. My son's the chef today!

Sorry to hear you've got drain problems again, not wanting to sound accusing but do you pour fats down them?

Medical Detectives was very good last night and that's why I woke up late as well. All on channel 66.

A doctor with numerous affairs bought a house and asked his pregnant girlfriend to sign the document pretending to be his wife. The estate agent was surprised that he didn't haggle. He stated that he needed to have possession of the house 1 January and that night his mum visited his house. He's killed his wife and buried the wife in the new house whilst his mum was baby sitting. His 12 year old son was very articulate and even enacted the noises he heard at night by banging on the court table. Because of that, the dad was sent to prison with no possibility of parole for 20 years. The doctor then claimed that the woman found buried in the new house was not his wife and his son had a change of mind. DNA suggested otherwise. All so sad for such a lovely boy. So many psychopaths and sociopaths around.

If there is fat, it is from the dishwasher. I used tissue papers to wipe the pans and plates before putting them in and the fat-ladden tissue paper go to the bin. Whenever I saw the 3 inches of water, I said to myself - Got to limit the occasions of crackling pork. But when son scrambled for the skin, I relented. Today we will have a whole duck and crackling pork joint. Duck fat will be used for potatoes.

People don't buy arm and harmer, they just use yeast. That's why we walked round and round Asda in the town centre and found none. Will try the bigger one and will buy 3. Commission for me please. By the way, mustard powder is often difficult to get. BBQ meat tastes so much better with powder, but even Aldi stock Dijon mustard in a jar, but no powder! Cost me £1.35 for a tiny tin.

We can get both here OK, I suppose it depends on the demand for them in your area. As you say......stock up wherever you find them(y)

Enjoy you visitor and meal (y):)

Evening @Perki , no they are still out there enjoying life in the patio beds :D. Think they are trying to persuade me to leave them be as they seem to be looking a lot better now.....probably just my eyes;):D

We've had a drizzly day today, don't think it was forecasted either!

Haven't done much garden related jobs today except for sowing some Liatris spicata seeds, some say they are tricky to germinate so we shall wait and see :)(y)

Good evening to all. Visitor has just departed and gone away with my bay tree and yew tree bits and pieces. Feeling so de-cluttered and relieved.

Watered quite a bit of borders and raised beds as they say it will rain on Saturday. Might go to Hyde Hall tomorrow as it hits 22c tomorrow. Sorry for 0c, Perki!

According to the weather report, we will have only 13c on Saturday. 0c is a bit cruel! No gardening whatsoever as I stood there like an idiot using a pair of scissors to trim the spring onions into thin strips. That took me an hour and I was grumpy when visitor came. Any way, It was hard work. We had to pump the bird to make the skin come away from the body and then sew to bottom and top to prevent the marinate from leaking. Then The worst really is turning spring onions into strips and had to wash them as they might have soil in them.

I also bought a frilly edged tulips from Lidl £5 for 5 packets and £1.25 for 12 bulbs. Not bad. I only bought the one. I have now numerous pots holding some unknown bulby stuff from last year. All the labelling has gone out of the window.

A lot of pampering for the Ensete, Perki and I bet Monty will go on and on about how to lug it into his house. 0c is a warning, better act quickly before the dread frost hits your lovely plant. If I can, I prefer to grow papaya! Another another dessert with my overgrown rhubarbs. Tons of icecream needed to wash it down.

Good morning to a very quiet but mild day - we're expecting Indian Summer

Hope tomorrow's rain will come a-plenty as I really need it.

Will plant something in the front to reduce congestion in the path way near the raised bed. The reduced salvias have got white spots on the leaves, as if hit by frost or something. Very annoyed.
