Ooops! Perki is a perfectionist! That's why!

@MaryMary Never seen any of your plants here on my thread! What have you been up to lately?

I have reduced the number of pots and split quite a few oriental poppies Princess Victoria Louise and Carneum. Removed the pot holding helenium piquesqueak and they will stay on the border. Planted out hardy gardenia on the border as well. Tomorrow, if it is not too windy, the pole for clothes will be up.

(y)....Did think about that @MaryMary ,but not really the ideal place as I prefer the Lavender to be near the patio sitting area and along the walk ways, so that their scent can be really enjoyed. The unmentionables were in amongst the fruit trees. But it's still a possibility :ROFLMAO:(y)

It's so cold. Have you had your heating on, @Upsy Daisy ?

By the look of it, we will have 21c before weekend! We have tidied up one corner and hopefully will do more tomorrow.

Not on fully yet, just have them on in certain rooms that we use daily ( lounge and kitchen). We never put heating on in our bedroom even when it's really cold out, hate having an overly warm bedroom.

It hasn't been cold here today, in fact it was warmer outside than in!

Morning everyone :).
A bit grey at the moment but definitely not cold!
Yesterday I started emptying out the summer patio pots, so hopefully I will finish off doing the rest of them today.(y)

I have 4 rose cuttings in a jar of water that have developed a good root system so they will now get potted up.(y)

If I feel up to it I will make a start on another border tidy up too (y)

That's the plan !!!!:D

Have an enjoyable day:):)

Good morning to all - a lot of anxiety and couldn't sleep very well last night and then woken up by some strange heat again at 5am. Tried to sleep in the living room as it was really too early. Son got up and woke me up.

Very grey today and ideal for pottering. Half a border is done and half the pots along that side were removed. I need to do a bit more.

Upsy: You don't fancy going to RHS Wisley for free? It's actually nearer to you.

Hi @alp :)
We did think about going but to be honest I don't think I can face a car journey at the moment, plus not sure if I even fancy walking around too much today.

Oh, dear! Are you still feeling unwell?

I was amazed how much I could manage on the trip to the Bedfordshire zoo. I had a knee support. Lately, I have a celery for every dinner. Haven't been taken too much turmeric as they say people taking too much have reduced liver functions!:banghead: Just stretch the whole leg tense and relax whilst watching channel 66/68 or when not asleep - the laziest method of helping myself.

Very bleak day - ideal for gardening for me! In fact, we have had no sunshine at all!

Ah, Karma is a **** and poetic justice!

Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe 'fears he has cancer after testicle swells to five times its normal size'
  • Peter Sutcliffe, 72, is currently serving a life sentence for murdering 13 women
  • He has described the shape of his testicle as 'weird' and very 'swollen'
  • A source said the testicle was so swollen it is 'keeping him awake at night'

Very very grey here too, @Zenj ! In fact, the sun made an appearance at 1.30 and disappeared straight away. At one point, I thought it was going to rain and it worried me as I had just poured concrete onto the washing line pole. Very ominous dark clouds, but no rain at all.

We worked hard yesterday and this is a marked improvement over yesterday's pots and pile

Hopefully, more will be cleared later! Off to move money around to earn the pithy interest!
