I come to realise whether I write down my plans or keep them in my head there is absolutely no difference.......either way I never seem to do them!!

My plans today did they get done..hmmmm....nope.!!!..Instead I have a sparkling clean washing machine and a nice big pile of freshly ironed laundry.
I did however empty out the summer bulbs from one tub and they are now drying out. Next problem there will be....will they all end up mixed up......definitely:LOL::ROFLMAO:

I know what you mean - I have found my sarcoccoca which is flourishing. I must take cuttings.

By the way, what bulbs do you have in mind to buy in Lidl? I saw them but they were put in a shelf taller than me. So I gave up.

Went to another Lidl and wonder what holds attraction for perki! I can't really find anything new. I'd like to get a crinum bulb. But no. Nowhere to be found. Friend has a white version, but I like the pink one. But will ask any way, can't say no to free bulbs!

Can't believe it that we're talking about bulbs already! Remember the day I was snapping my black towers .. Some of my dahlias are in buds and I don't even know where I have gone wrong.

I think the bulbs at Lidl were last week, if I remember correctly @Perki was looking for tulips.

Especially love the Echinaceas @alp :)(y)

"Finally, someone has realised that there has been a party and now she unfurls her ballerina tutu!"

If you could get that flower to open like that every time, you would really have something.

You'll not get any special / different bulbs at Lidl other than common ones like tulip - daffs etc I go Lidl for bulbs for the price, local GC 5 tulips £1.75 - Lidl £1.79 for 8-10 bulbs or two packs for £3 you need to look at the premium bulbs with a black label as well.

I did get round to doing some cutting - 3 types of monarda - 3 types of salvia - agastache - fuchsia - sedum, need to do more fuchsia and pelargonium cutting but not enough cutting material ready yet. Raked over the lawn again, its taking forever doing the lawn weather slowing me down

It been a bit windy today a few damaged stems so took a few cut flowers for a vase.

So nice to have your comment. It's now 9th September and this plant has 3 buds since 3rd September. It had been sulking or I had not been a good mother, failing to bring out the best from this poor beautiful creature and yet she had been bursting with potentials all the time ...

I have tried to love agastache, but it just looked messy and I put it down. Was dithering between Coral and a yellow one. One woman staff was happy seeing me holding the plant for a long time. In the end, the messiness just put me off and I put it down. Bought a yellow Helenium Gold instead and I still thoroughly love it.

You might have to take quite a bit of cuttings as soon you will have jet stream blasting you in the next few days. Hold your garden friends hold very, very TIGHT indeed! Lovely flowers put to good use, Perki!

Good morning to all:

A warmish day. Didn't feel the chill so badly as in other mornings.

Strange that they have the Like function removed! Why?

Sorry, @Upsy Daisy ! Can't give you a Like ..

I still see them on other threads .. Perhaps they have just removed it for me! Folks, if you don't have a like from me. It's because I don't have it.

Interesting! The Like function is back. Good morning, @Leeski !

If the pots are 3L or 2L, they usually can survive the winter. But make sure you check them before they plants disappear. Please upload pics when you have time.

Have a very nice day! Hope to see you later at night after 6 or 7.
