....I do like dogs, but much prefer to fill the time with gardening topics, after all the clue to the programme is in it's title!(y)There is a time and place for everything...
That basket that he used after allowing the dog to carry it must have been covered in slobber!

Don't misinterpret what I'm saying....dogs /animals are great..but in their own programmes.....and there are plenty of them !!:)(y)
No offence taken,:) but it's their garden and they have a large following. Dogs don't salivate all the time and i think that it was good that monty let her do it. People are too worried about hygiene.:)(n)

True....in normal circumstances I would totally agree, it is his garden!(y)

But he is being paid to do a job!! As I said....'time and place ' (y)

And yes working in childcare and with government regulations and OFSTED to contend with.......you can't be clean enough, especially with anything connected with food!:)(y)

It isn't as though they take up a lot of time on there, it's just a look at Nigel asleep or wanting his ball out of the wheelbarrow, i don't know why your complaining about. I could say that there's not enough that monty does and there's too much going to other places, but i won't.But i like the bit that carol does about one plant species. Also it's an hour long, got more time.

I was brought up with cats and dogs and i didn't suffer from it.:)(y)

Afternoon all , pop out this morning to the GC for something to do, I haven't been to a GC for weeks now, having withdrawal symptoms ;).

All the bulbs are out now but they are expensive in my opinion - 5 tulips £1.75, they do sell bags of 10 for 2.99 or 4 bags for a 10 tenner but still not enticed enough, seen I few bulbs I fancy but will look else where first, LIdl have tulips in this weekend I think. They got some shrubs there on a good offer which I ma eyeing up , Choyisa Gioldfingers Limo and nandina firepower, one of my friends has asked me to plant up their back garden so a few shrubs on the list are at the GC. Soem smallish yorkshire pots i am liking as well £5 or the large ones which I already have £7.50.

Cloudy and sunny today, jsut been and give some plants a drink and back in now to watch the footy.

Our lane is used by dog walkers, as there is no through traffic and it leads to the woods/lakes. Most do clear up , but plenty don't! They stand outside chatting away about everything to do with their dogs, while purposely ignoring the fact that their dogs are fouling outside our gate:eek:!! I go out and that usually does the trick.....we have even had 'doggy do' bags dumped in our bins!!:muted::rage:

If I were you, I would remove the bin. It's disgusting. I told you - it's like someone had just washed their car. The patch was long and wide and it stinks! It damages the foot of lamp posts. I remember seeing one calling card the size of 4 sausages .. And that really put me off sausages!

It takes all sorts - it's like you give a child a present, he/she's more interested in the wrapping paper. Some people just can't shake the habit - even though they are more than half a century old .. If the wrapping paper holds more attraction, I wouldn't waste my breath putting my case forward.

Each to his/her/its own!

Nandina Firepower featured in Love your (my? don't watch it often, just stumbled on it whilst channel surfing!) Garden. I must say it is a beautiful and exquisite plant. I don't think you got your lovely tulips from Lidl. Have to say some of Lidl's plants are very good value. The flowering peonies went in no time. I was being fussy and the dithering cost me the plant. They also had some fuchsias with flared back petals. Again, I was a meanie! It was hard today as I was dithering whether to get another £10 box cone. it was already in the trolley. After visiting the washroom, I changed my mind. In the end, son put it back. Can't bear to have another cone to look after and next year, that nursery will be selling the same thing at this price (have to say it was a bargain, but my garden is already overspilling ... )

In the end, got a Lilac for £2 in B** Now I have my first lilac!

Yes Wisley looks wonderful, hoping to venture to Hardy’s nursery at some point too. I wonder if @Upsy Daisy has been, it’s somewhere between Newbury and Winchester :)

Might google it and go there. Do they charge for admission please?
