Snowing started to melt today but its still like an ice ring, it just started snowing again. I think it forecast snow on and off Sunday, due to warm up Monday :) I can get my tomatoes and other seeds sown.

Great news about those programmes. I am still watching Small Gardens Big Dreams. Really good programmes with lots of human stories and the efforts by in my participants are to be commended.

Sorry for your possible loss. I think by next week we will all know the casualties. Yes, it's bad to lose plants; even worse to lose new ones.

Most snow gone now. I am very lucky. Most of my tomatoes self seed themselves. So this year, I just need to find them on the ground. Hope they haven't been killed off by the prolonged cold and snow.

Good morning, Logan and others to come.

Lean to 8c kitchen 13c and here half of my body is warm and the other half cold. Very dark outside.

I have found salvia seedlings very well behaved. They have a toughness other seedlings do have. Some of my seedlings from last year are still growing and I like plants like these.

That's great news about your seedlings, remember to turn them around every day. Use some foil at the back to catch the light.

Got no heating the boiler brocken down. Hubby tried to re-start it but no good. It's only over a year old,so it's still covered. Have to wait until tomorrow to see if they can come and fix it.
Got the gas fire, that's up high as it can go. Got the old immersion heater for the hot water tank.

That's amazing,it must be very fiddly doing it.

You know, I am sure Upsy must be very contented doing that. I have seen tinier thread and needles and they turn out MAGIC! Just as Upsy has done!

Well done, Upsy! Such lovely testament to your talent!

These might not look very good, but they were dead, limp and lifeless yesterday

Now I have come to the conclusion that if you buy a helleborus because it has pointed petals, different dots, veins or patterns of dots, you can go bankrupt very quickly. An echo to Miss Wilmott!

@alp they look amazing and very different.

Cost me a tenner! The man labelled a Lady Campbell as E G Waterhouse! He literally wrote the words on the Lady Campbell camellia with a felt tip. But he was so elusive that I couldn't really tell him that he was wrong. I knew it was NOT E G Waterhouse because @Mark56 's upload. Hilarious. I don't think I will buy them until I can see the flowers. His camellias are £7.99 each and some even £5.99. I was on the point on buying E G Waterhouse with £5.99 on the LABEL until I realised that it was NOT E G Waterhouse. The flower on the label was that of Campbell. Hilarious that he actually had an essay extolling E G Waterhouse's merits right below the plants. LOL!
