I'd love to have a recipe for that sundried tomatoes sold in the delicatessen in supermarkets. Love them so much, but they are very small in amount for £1.69 compared with the antipasto pepperdew chillies. Do you have a recipe for that please, @Leeski ?

I mean this one with a bit of green?

We sun-dry tomatoes (Texas has plenty of sun) by cutting Roma tomatoes in half, stem to stern, washing in vinegar, and then putting them on the dryer. When they are well-wrinkled, we bring them in, put them in jars and cover with olive oil, as Leeski said. When we use the tomatoes, we are careful to save the tomato-infused olive oil for salad dressings or marinating vegetables.
Tomatoes that have less seed/pulp and more "meat" to them dry better, but you can use almost any tomato. We've even dried red and yellow cherry tomatoes.

Love to get hold of one of your jars! I love the ones in my pic with a bit of probably basil??? Incredibly delicious! Make divine spaghetti with a healthy dollop of Parmesan cheese. Shame we don't have that much heat in this country. But I will try as I live in the hottest and driest part of the country!

Love your tomatoes, @marlingardener I hope mine would be as big as yours. Love the yellow one as well. I might have bought this packet from Wyevale when they wanted to offload them for 50p each. All the goodies were good and I bought quite a few Italian salad packet such as fennel (yummy!), lettuce and probably tomatoes. Really tickled my fancy when I saw the shape, but I managed to blur 2 pics!

Picked 2lb of blueberries, still got a lot left.

Think you could set up a stall outside your house to sell the fresh fruit, especially blueberries and jam. Might as well make a habit of it as you will always have excess! You will be the entrepreneur of the close, @Logan !

Good morning to all. It' quite cool and fresh here! A bit overcast as well. Will go out to see if the closing Homebase has anything useful to offer and go to Asda to get some organic flour.
