Evening all , light rain this morning but dry and cloudy this afternoon , done a privet hedge this morning round the corner for a nice elderly lady who regularly give me plants and still offers :) she give me the white buddleia in the front garden. Done a bit off shopping this afternoon for next week stag do in Benidorm, and watch the footy this evening. Just been out and fed and deadheaded the dahlia etc.

Wilko had gardening stuff on sale but not tomorite what mum asked for (n) Compost was on offer would of load the van up if I could. B&M gardening stuff has already gone, christmas stuff be up next week probably

Its much nicer homemade jam, where are all your fruit bushes Logan ? I've never noticed them before.

Nice to hear you've had a great day Upsy (y)

Get well soon Mark (y)

More rain for @Perki and @Leeski

Batten down the hatches! Britain is braced for heavy rain and 60mph winds TONIGHT as tropical Storm Ernesto smashes UK after raging across Atlantic
  • Britain is set for wet and windy weather tonight as remains of sub-tropical Storm Ernesto breezes through
  • Forecasters said rainfall totals in some areas of the UK could get as high as two inches (50mm)
  • It'll be a humid and muggy evening with temperatures of around 63F (17C) making it uncomfortable to sleep

17c is nothing. I hope the person writing this up live a bit more!
The storm is over Ireland and scotland, up north.:)

@alp glad that you are feeling better and @Upsy Daisy glad that your dad is doing ok.

Went to see keith, he had a relapse but he's better now. He was stressed about the carers that come in morning and evening. He has complained but it doesn't make any difference. He's changed companies but they're all the same. They send people that don't know what to do.

Got a lot of embellishments to put on the cards that i make for him.

I can see quite a bit of rain! Hope the rain recedes a bit for you, @Perki !

Yes, I saw 3 or 4 50L compost in B&M, but I had no car and i still have a few bags at home, so I gave a miss. The Tomorite is still £2.75. Good luck to your bargain hunting, Perki!

Carers are important as they come nearly twice a day next door. Hope Keith gets a good carer and gets better!

....are they hired through Adult Social Services.....if so then they should know what to do. My brothers carers are absolutely brilliant they go way over their job description. They attend him twice a day and keep us well informed via phone calls and a written daily logged report.
