Scene from my kitchen patio doors looking down towards hubs workshop....(tablet used so not true colours) everything looks so refreshed, albeit a tad battered.

Going to follow Monty's advice and cut backs my mad looking Lavenders today and take yet more cuttings from them too(y)

I went to the posh nursery and saw your Agastache which didn't look half as lovely as yours. I was a bit disappointed with their display. I will keep an eye out and go out tomorrow. Today is a bucket / container hunting day!
Try freecycle or wickes for buckets and containers wickes do rubble buckets there really strong and imo good value

I don't agree, it has been dry here. It's the 2nd lot of rain for about 3 months.:)

Got bare patches in the lawn/ grass where it hasn't recovered. In a couple of days we'll probably be out watering again.:(

Oh, dear! Didn't know you had been dry for so long. Keep you in my prayers to heavens! Birmingham can't be as hot as Essex. I will still pray for you, sis!

I remember seeing a bucket for £9 but they were gone before I could say hellos! They were ones with a tap at the bottom.

First one is a crocosmia or gladiolus. I lean toward the first. 2nd one not too sure. I have seen them quite frequently. It's might be a snapdragon relative???
Lots of rain tomorrow and some predicted tonight too in showers. I hope everyone has staked their plants, don’t end up like Alp, Upsy & I :ROFLMAO:

I can see a Nemesia @Leeski in picture 2 :)

Yes, @Mark56 is right.

GOOD advice, @Mark56 !

Morning @Mark56 , how are you doing at the moment?

So sad isn't it seeing a battered garden, will walk round and check things and stake .....everything in sight!!!(y)

Create a 'cane garden' ...might start a new craze!!

Our next scheduled rainfall starts at 3am Sunday morning and could last until 7am Monday morning......better find my snorkel!!
