Was in the garden at 3am and there was some crazy lights in the sky pinky purple pulsing was very strange saying that only haven a few hours sleep in two days could just be my mind playing tricks on me anyhow
Have a gd day all :)

Oh, dear! Hope you try some yoga or mindfulness (relax and concentrate on nothing) and deep breathing and soon you will be snoring. It was a good night for me as the air was clean and I could open the window.

Morning Upsy, how are you? Nice to see you back.:) Sorry about your brother.

Logan: It's her brother-in-law! Sleep is very important as you feel refreshed after a good night's sleep. I was up 5.45 and now the mulch mountain at the front is no more. But I was too tired to mow the lawn. Tomorrow is another day! Will do it. tomorrow. I am going to cover the concrete in the west facing back garden to reduce the heat absorbed by the concrete. It has always been an oven over there. Now my back garden is full of wood chips and leaves.

@Upsy Daisy You have had a nice weekend?

Logan: The weather must be very nice where you are! Saw a Moorheim Beauty and so wanted to buy it. But there is only one stem for £3.65. I must see if I can find the seeds. They must be very old by now.
Sorry Upsy, I was nearly right ;)
:D:D:D
Just had a shower - so nice! Now have to go to the post office and queue up

Talking about sons! Mine really annoyed me. I bought 3 kinds of grapes, a cucumber, apples and there are nectarines in the fridge. The pork was a bit tough and he ate an egg and packed his own lunch. I have no idea what with as the pork was all there. It's my fault. Fancy him not taking any of the grapes, cucumber or apples. I want to shake some sense into him. My progeny doesn't bode well!:cry::cry:

Not to mention that he lost another iPhone charger lead during the holiday and cost me £15 to replace it. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Did somebody mention brother and another mention brother in law? A story that my mother once told me.
In the late 1930's two of my mom's sisters married a couple of Norwegian brothers who owned a large sheep ranch close to my grandma's farm here is southern Alberta. During WW2 some of the German POW'S were allowed out of the prison camp to work on my Uncle's ranch. Every year during shearing time and lambing season my uncles hired my mother to come out and cook for their crews. Well I guess there was one German prisoner that took a real interest in my mom. My one Uncle took a notice of his interest and kept a close eye on him. There was no way one of his hired men was going to get a chance at making the moves on his young sister in law.
Interestingly my uncles kept in contact with some of those German POWS that had worked on the ranch and in the 1980's they took a trip to Denmark and Norway also a side trip to Germany to visit one of those former prisoners who worked for them.
My mother's brother in law who was her protector during those times became in his later years and my younger years, my favourite Uncle. I always loved the Sunday afternoons when he would be visiting our farm for Sunday dinner. He would talk for hours about the early years and later years (1910-1960s) of events that happened on the sheep ranch. I could listen to that history all day.

Certainly is! Now, to give him credit, I think he must have packed the best and sweetest but cheapest grapes from Tesco as I found some for me in his plate

But there is another incident: Yesterday, cat food in sachet or a bit bigger packets were given away for free on promotion. I said I needed them. Son straight away said, "But you don't have a cat!" I was cursing under my breath. The staff gave me two and so I asked her why only two as the Caucasian woman before me got 4. She asked me, "Have you got cats?" Now, I cursed him all the more. I told her they were for my hedgehog. She later reltented and I got 6. Of course, when I asked him to feed the sleeping beauty, he couldn't find any of them! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

The hedgehog made a lot of noise and apparently, it sleeps among the bags of perlite and what not and under a cardboard.

It is sooooooooooooooo hot here. I hanged out my laundry and had to come in to have breakfastt/lunch!

@johnny canoe So nice to have lovely relatives. Mine were half as nice. One uncle let a flat to my eldest brother and they had new baby, but there was no electricity in this flat. Straight after that, they sent his eldest daughter to live with them. I am sure food was free for her. Then they evicted them - I am 100% sure my brother has always been a thoroughly good man. When this uncle wanted to buy a property in Canada (he was allowed to emigrate there as he was a police sergeant. The British government honoured their promise to let the military and police to emigrate when the colony was handed back to China), he had the audacity to ask this very brother of mine to lend him money! The cheek he had!

It's too hot for me and i don't like the sun, but got to enjoy it while we can.

In the middle of colouring my hair. Left it to grow for a bit ,so i could see the grey. Thought that i might like it, but no makes me look older. I look young for my age, so I've coloured it.
