Well, it's some sort weird story .. When she was recovered she had or had NO drawers! Only one girl was found. 2 others missing. Versailles is coming to an end as well. Poldark already ended. Don't miss the latter at all. Versailles is a bit sad and ruthless.
Yes it's very weird.Haven't watched them.

Good morning to a sunny but breezy day. Not bad a supposedly very hot day. The Met Office exaggerated so much. Have to admit, it was very closed last night. Did an hour and 45 minutes of watering. I am quite worried as my beloved limelight has wilted very, very badly.:cry::cry:

After this cup of tea, have to reduce the mulch mountain.

Good morning all and @alp sorry about your limelight not doing very well.

Those lavender plants that we bought have a bit of dieback. Lavender does that sometimes, one we bought from a specialist nursery, lost half a plant but the rest is ok. Won't bother complaining it's been in the ground too long. The ones that we bought from local GC are doing well.
Yes it was close last night, won't be as hot as they predicted, it changes as days go by. I just take one day at a time.

You take it easy, how are your legs doing?:)

Thank you for asking after me, @Logan !

After the holiday, I put a Korean medicated patch on my worse leg, the left one. It gave out such a strong odour and yet it did me some sort of relief. Overnight, most of it fell out and I removed it. My knee has been so much worse after that. I did some sit down exercise. Straightened it, tightened the bit near the knee and relaxed it again and again. I could worked through the pain barrier. I have just finished reducing the mulch mountain and am very pleased with myself. Son helped quite a bit.

You can easily collect lavender seeds and raise new ones from seeds. My big lavender was very dry. I emptied one big butt and one slim butt already!

But, Logan, after using them, my leg was much worse! Any way, they are Korean patches. I won't bother.

Glad that you have a busy day. Anything you want to buy from B&Q, buy it before 3rd September. Whilst on holiday, there were tons of Listerine mouth wash 1L for £3. Didn't want to lug them in the car, so didn't buy any. Went to various stores. All got emptied ..:cry::cry:! Did buy some Vintage cheese £2 rather than the usual £2.50.

Had a good afternoon with Keith, he had oral thrush, but better now after having the meds. Could have been the tablets that he has to take for his MS.:)

I might be suffering from it now. On the right bottom of my mouth deep down, something seems to be bugging me. Probably rinse my mouth with salty water. Didn't go out at all today. Just taking care of indoor plants. Because of the terrible heat, some of the plants didn't get to see the sun at all as I needed to put one curtain behind another to screen off the west setting sun. Just cleaned the cooker. Now I realise why people like induction cooker. Looks forever clean whereas gas cooker always looks dirty. Tomorrow, we will clear the rest of the mulch mountain and then we go shopping and have probably a Mac meal or Burger King meal out.

Apparently, a popular place for weddings.

Levens Hall - the home of topiaries

Apparently, a lot of buildings are like these in the Lake District - brick facade very grey!

Morning all @alp oh dear, do you have a dry mouth? Can you swollow ? Have you got any sores that you can wipe out and leaves a red sore patch?. If so you could have it. The dr. Will know.it's an infection that any one can have and women can get it in a curtain part of the body. We all have a bacteria called candida, but it sometimes gets out of control.

Good that you stayed in yesterday, it wasn't too bad here, but hotter inside.

Lovely pics @alp:), yes it's a type of stone that they would have used for that area. It's the same in the Cotswolds, but a better colour.:)
Can't tell that it's raining there.:)
Have a good day and all:)

Good morning, @Logan et al: Just come in to have a cup of tea. Got up 6am and did a bit of watering and then got son up to reduce the mulch mountain. Didn't do a lot but making steady progress.

@Logan - the impediment in the mouth is gone. So all is fine. I agree. The Cotswold stone is warmer and more cheerful. Quite of lot of houses have that kind of stones which look miserable, austere and grey - not very cheerful on a winter and rainy day. The lakes were beautiful. Didn't expect it to be so near the roads and houses. I worked up such a sweat that I feel very comfortable now. At this rate, I might drop from size 16 to 6! FAT chance!

Yes best to take it easy with the mulch mountain.:)
y. The lakes were beautiful. Didn't expect it to be so near the roads and houses.
Glad that you enjoyed the lakes, :)but that's progress of cities or towns getting bigger with growing population.:(

I have to have a size 16 in skirts and trousers. Have size 14 in tops and I'm not much over weight. I don't take the sizes seriously these days.:)
