Yes, after doing a bit of banking to get some meagre interest, might as well turn in as son has been driving 6 hours. Good night everyone!

Good morning, everyone! Oh, dear! @Upsy Daisy That's not good news. Hope you will get over it once you're out in the garden.

Couldn't really get up. So woke up so late. It's viciously bright this morning and the air fouled. This morning I have to tackle this beast whose limps have been amputated by me.

Morning all. Thanks @alp sorry about you and your son's fall, i hope you both feel better this morning.

Going to be warm today. Got to sort out the dog food, haven't had it delivered yet. Last night cut out a card for Keith, that will be collected today.
Was going to make some jam but the 5kg bags of sugar has been recalled back because they found traces of metal in it.

Might have to water the polyanthus around the path.
Have a good day all.:)

Oh, Logan - That sounds so wicked that I chuckled. Very nasty man!

Now, I can sigh a sigh of relief. I have been trying to reduce the free mountain of bark mulch and leaves. I WON'T do it again. Perhaps I should have said 4 bags instead of 9:cry::cry::cry:

Son went for his work experience and my legs just ached. I said to myself, I'm going to finish now. Then the left leg didn't feel so bad and I carried on. I put the whole bunch of keys on top of one of the buckets to ferry the mulch and I tipped them occasionally - I know I shouldn't be doing that, but there is just soooooooooo much! By the time I finished, I couldn't find the whole bunch of keys. I was drenched in sweat and nearly as much in tears!:cry::cry:! I didn't even know where the materials of that bucket was tipped to. I had a go at one grate and of course couldn't find it. My panic alarm beeeeeeeeeeeeped and I was sickly very ill. Put on my gloves and I looked around and found in on the stone bench. You must know how I felt. After that, couldn't have another cup of tea as son said the milk has turned. By the way, don't buy big bottle of milk. In this heat, you always ended up chucking 1/3 of it. Then the fan was upstairs and I needed to go there again.

Now I need to post something which is long overdue.

Found that keys, @Logan ! And limped to the post office with pain in both legs. Need to find the support. Now eating both breakfast and lunch! I can finally sit down and relax

Beware the Costa Killer: Searing 118F 'Iberian plume' in Spain and France is set to smash all-time European heat records leaving tourists at risk of death - with scorching conditions returning to UK TOMORROW
  • Temperatures across the Iberian Peninsula could break the European continental record of 47.8C this week
  • Coastal resorts where hundreds of thousands of Britons will be sunbathing are forecast to be seriously hot
  • The heatwave could have serious health implications for British holidaymakers, who often stay too long in sun

Must be fantastic in the North
