Very informative @MaryMary :)(y)

Unfortunately, like alp, I happen to be one of the "Preferred Flavors of Human" for them. :(

I am going to get some lemon balm seeds and try it next year. If crushing the leaves and rubbing the oils on me doesn't deter them, at least I will smell "lemony fresh!! " (y) :ROFLMAO: Added bonuses that you can cook with it, and bees like the flowers, so if it doesn't work, it's not a total waste of space!!

Even at 6am, Barney doesn’t want to walk with OH. Prefers laying in the road (!!!) & raising his leg for a belly rub!

Is he saying or suggesting something else as well!?:LOL::LOL:!

In this heat, I think we should give the pets a rest! Some even pretend to be dead whilst being taken out. You should take a video and post it on youtube!

I have tons of lavender at my disposal. I might boil it with a carrier oil and smear it all over myself. I have actually found a proprietary insect repellent which I will try tonight. Thank you for the article, @MaryMary ! I have done rosemary oil, but it was too strong and I prefer to cook with it.

Now I must find that recipe for the chicken curry!

Severe weather warning for Wideopen where we live Thursday Friday including hailstorms wind and risk of flooding

  • 24° /15°
    Mostly sunny, a heavy t-stormMore
  • FRI
    27 JUL

    24° /12°C
    Strong afternoon t-storms

I wish for thunderstorm, especially when the factory next door opens the bathroom window 90 degree. Literally, I feel trapped in a drug den!

Normally, I don't like freaky weather, but we do need a torrential rain or a thunderstorm to clear the air and drench the soil. We were supposed to rain 4pm. Not a chance.

Trimmed a lot of tomatoes side shoots and excess and plonked one or two, too see if they root. Hopefully, @Leeski 's magic rubs on me.

Also take salvia salmon dance, S Patends cuttings. Just when I think I should reduce the number of pots in the house or garden. Mad I am!

Muahah, definitely!

I agree, it either has to be super early in the morning or super late at night, I can’t believe some people walk them in the mid day sun, when the pavement bakes their paws and can give them heat exhaustion.

Barney has a lovely little 3 year olds paddling pool, I will get videos!!

I could be very wrong: tons of seeds could be dianthus or sweet williams. And the other one could be hypericum or
