Wish I had mossie's instinct and found them straight away, as quickly as they found me.:cry:

Greece wildfires: State of emergency as at least 50 people are killed
Towns and villages have been evacuated because of forest fires near Athens, which have also closed highways and diverted flights.

Morning!!!!:)

We've just finished watering too....such a chore:(

Bracing ourselves for anther day of heat.

Will continue potting on the wallflowers, before it gets too hot. Also look out for any seeds to harvest too(y)

Have a great day!:)(y)

Generally, how long does it take you to water the whole garden, @Upsy Daisy ? I just want to find out if I spend more as I have so many hellebores .. The dreaded hellebores are opening up new soil for me to water, as if saying, we were thirsty, please water here! Like my itches telling me where to scratch!

Someone near us is going to have rain, definitely not me! Call me a cynic or sceptic.. We here are allergic to rain!

View attachment 41461 View attachment 41462 My super hot chillis and toms loving the sun .
Me not so much :-(

Perhaps it's a good idea to remove the lower leaves and the stems coming from the lower leaves. Remove them manually to stop them exerting pressure on the more useful part of the plant i.e. top flowers and top few leaves.

Beechgrove Jim shows me how to do it and so does Monty, the illusive Monty - not seen in any RHS flower shows and now I have to put up with Joe Swift. The snobs must be speaking!

I think our butterflies are suffering from ADHD. They are always fidgety.
