Hello Leeski,
Well I haven't been terrified yet but I do watch the storm clouds when they are rolling in. Should a tornado form and start moving my way, I'll head to the basement and start praying.

I guess you kinda get use to what ever you climate throws at you I’m a bit of a drama queen with things like that I’m the first one to leg it to the shops and buy 300 tins of baked beans if we have 4 inches of snow lol
Can’t cope with this heat we have here at the min it’s like living on the sun

:LOL::LOL::LOL:! Can't blame you. To be marooned by the snow is no laughing matter. My late father-in-law was in tears over not being able to drive and at the same time living at the end of a stick so that he could enjoy the seaside.

Extremes are no good. Just when I thought England weather is temperate and clement and out came severe snow, heat and lack of rain .. Across the weather map, no rain at all and everywhere is red, red, scarlet! Fancy you plant all your lovely flowers with tender loving care in summer and down come thunderstorm and all your efforts decimated.. Perhaps, Essex isn't so bad after all!

Hello been in and out of the garden today, planted a couple of monarda scorpion, I find growing monarda a bit temperamental :scratch:. Dead head lots of plants, cut back the sambucus black lace which was casting to much shade, tidied up the greenhouse look much better now. Planted some pelargoniums / lewisia in some terracotta pots for a GH display. Other than that I've been a bit fed up, been out and took some pictures I'll put some on now :)

@Perki

Helenium Moerheim Beauty takes my breath away!

Are the white feathery blooms Astilbes? Mine (the white and red) is just a trickle. Very sad.

The white likes and the purple clematis just set off each other so well. Paul Scarlet is a fantastic rose. £1 from poundshop. Always am impressed with mine.

Stunning view, stunning flowers and stunning photos, @Perki !

I also trimmed my black Elder, but thankfully not too much as it screens off some of heat from my back garden. It's an oven there. Concrete ground and brick wall. Strange enough one lantern shrub has been singing sitting in that oven!:eek::eek: Just show how much I know.

Been watching Garden Rescue. Before I really couldn't bring myself to watch it. When @Upsy Daisy said she was watching it, I wondered if she was being serious. Now I am addicted to it. Charlie is a force to reckon with, though would like to see a slimmer version of her with shorter and neater hair. Quite enjoyable series.

@Perki you could be part of the Garden Rescue .. Lovely planting schemes and gorgeous flowers.

I am off to watch TV now as the fan is near the settee and I am sweating like a pig here! Ahhhhhhh, no more heat wave please!:cry::cry::cry:. It's a sauna here!
