Morning All....

Oh i see, they won't think anything of it then.
They can think what they like @Logan..I wont loose sleep over what they think...They speak to me when they want something then they go back to being ignorant...I have no time for folks like that..

Anyway I've come back to a garden full of potential...plants I moved from shade last year are really comming to life soon my Wisteria might reach the level of @alp 's after spending a year in dormancy in semi shade
Roses have really taken off and my donated sapling Tree of Life is doing well also...Prime concern is to get this Silver Birch into the ground before it gets too big.
Welcome @Evie Keith Which part of Australia are you from??

BigC - your must follow the regime of February (?) and August prunings to encourage them to flower. Also, buy one which has already flowered. You must love that birch. I have quite a few trees mainly cornus and viburnums and fruit trees x 6 or more - I must contain them. I think I am over-optimistic of the size of my next property!

I was lucky to have got this plant for a tenner. Hope you go around gc and are lucky enough to have one like this. I need to learn how to prune it too. Off now for another evaluation. Very tedious!

Have a nice day everyone!

A very useful video if you suffer from gout or build up of uric acid

Time to grow celery - next year I mean!
Just had chance to watch your video. Very informative, thanks.:) I don't eat a lot of processed meat and i've cut down on cereal based products, like bread. But have porridge oats and wheat bran with oat bran for breakfast, for bringing down cholesterol.I do eat a lot of fruit and veg. Found out that eating red bell peppers can stop cataracts from forming. :)

@alp it's quite a eye opener when anyone sees another property. Had a couple move in our close and they seen 4 bed houses and they were very small.:)

The birch is a backdrop to the greenhouse but I need to cut a slab with the grinder to get at the soil below...Just pondering at the minute but it will happen sooner rather than later..I bought the tree for £40 one winter 3 years ago so its part of the family now (jackamonti) affectionately known as Jack

The Wisteria will be a work in progress and was only £3 so it hs time and potential but I will adhere to the prunning regime...Just wish my Honeysuckle would grow back to cover that horrid oil tank (the one which my neighbour seen fit to butcher.

Evaluation finished. What a relief! Those oil drums are an eyesore! Got to sort out my garden now. Honey suckle can be quite invasive. Why don't you try confederate jasmine Trachelospermum jasminoides as it is evergreen? it adds class to the property as well.

Yeah! New flowers! Gorgeous irises. I even pitched my yellow dwarf irises to cross pollinate with the bearded ones. So far 2 seed pods.. Exciting to come. Lovely day here too. I said it with gritting teeth. To you, zenj, it's a sunny day. To me, it a sweating day! But so pleased that you have lovely weather. Thank you for sharing. Must buy some more irises when I have a damp spot! Love their markings. More weeding to do and I am already sweating. Just collected more hellebore seeds and my arms are all itchy!

Came back from my tour of diy gcs and gcs. The only thing I bought was an AGM courgette for 75p. Haven't got much to show except for my Sarah Bernhardt.

They are all different flowers

Very beautiful @alp
Peonies are pretty , sadly I don't have a space for one. My seeds were a complete failure, I patiently waited almost 3 years.....then chucked the whole pot! :(
