I did some work in the Greenhouse and waterd.

Decided to Shred Leaves.

Not doing much today. Hopefully the back fence will be repaired on Saturday, but I'm not holding my breath. I removed the cables for the spotlight behind the pagoda and the two Japanese lanterns in the main border, as they are likely to be in the way when two concrete posts are replaced.
I'll put new cables in mini trunking behind the bamboo up against the concrete base panels.
I'll go out today and buy some more cable, so hopefully I'll be able to complete the job on Sunday.

Make a guess. Yes I watered and Shredded Leaves but I also turned a Compost Bin.

Getting bad I was actually feeling and thinking how good my Compost is.

So happy it was warm enough to paint my trees blue. 😉

Sprayed my dormant trees with a 10-10-100 ratio Bordeaux mix. Got all my fruiting trees except the ones that still have green on them. If its warm enough this weekend I'll spray them with copper. It left my trees with a light blue tint to it. That color will mostly stay until mid spring when I will do a 1-1-100 ratio of Bordeaux mix again before bud swell.

Got into the loft of the tea-house.
Well, not actually, when I built it, I put a hatch in one side of the "atrium."

So with a step stool I can access all the cables.

I connected two new cables to the transformers for the lanterns and pagoda spotlight.
I had to thread them through the trunking between the building and the fence. Only possible by dismantling it. But it's only push-fit.

It's all rolled up ready for reconnection once the fence has been repaired. I used one black and one white cable, so I know which supply is for the different functions.

I was busy this morning but got into the garden about 1.30 pm.
I cleared a lot more leaves and pruned off the dead wood on one of the acer palmatums. Mostly lower branches of different sizes. Quite a bit dies off in the Autumn, for most you don't even need secateurs, you can break it off.
The lost branches are always replaced new one at the top and there's lots of new buds showing. I've two more to do. I might do those on Sunday. Finished at a quarter to four as it was getting quite dark.
Two of the back fence concrete posts and two double concrete base panels are being replaced tomorrow morning. This may damage a bit of my "bamboo forest," how badly I don't know.
