It's a bright day here.
Crisp autumn air and bright morning Sun.

I woke to a very large bird fluttering around my room and a kitten-cat-man going nuts chasing what obviously he brought in to show me. He doesn't seem to connect eating his prey with them being caught yet. He has one older female who doesn't seem to hunt often and another (oldest) that lives to hunt and eat her prey. And with me, keeping Guinea Pigs, well it will be interesting is he decides to hunt and eat.
I hope he is on Garden patrol next season when plants are actually in the ground and moles, voles and whatnot are abound.

I need some physical activity so I will rototill what "petrol" is left in the can today.
So it's like Good day Sunshine

Not technically in the garden, but looked out the window and thought about the last lawn mowing this year, fall pruning and cleanup and harvesting the rest of the chilies, tomatoes, basil, parsley, onions, etc. Then went to make my latte. They can wait. I winterized the motorhome yesterday, so I'm taking a break today. Besides, Corinne is off on a girl's weekend and it's two person job.

There is actually a music thread, believe it or not. The only music we play in the backyard is at the bar.

I've a choice in our garden when enjoying a beer or two.

Oops, guess I should have cropped the top slightly. Now I'm gonna get flamed to hell. Oh well, it is what it is. Don't hate us because we're nudists. o_O:eek:
Nice to see ya friends.
Is your nickname "Breezy Willie" by chance?

World Naked Gardening Day Celebration is on Sat, May 4, 2024

Hope to be participating myself except I might be limited to a thong around here.

Lots of rain here too. I had made a soakaway where both lawns slope in to the same place and it always floods. There was not nearly such a bad flood as usual, but it still flooded, so today, when the water level had dropped, I extended the soakaway. I think someone had tried it before, lots of stones and bits of roof tile embedded in the clay. I have used the bigger lumps of fired clay, which I think will work better, it's lighter so shouldn't sink into the subsoil. The new bed I made recently was showing lots of little two leaves, so I hoed them over. Finished emptying pots from the greenhouse other than one chili and one pepper that still have fruit on that might just get a bit bigger/riper.

It's a dry day but too wet to do anything in the garden or play golf.
The mild weather has continued and one or two clematis are making a last effort.

We may get a few more roses if the weather holds, but I doubt it, November isn't far away.
