Thanks alp & Logan; please; please adopt Blackie and his sister Gale between you; I'm willing to sign any full time custody papers and I won't even demand visiting rights.

For new members wondering who Blackie and Gale are; both these torment the life out of me; Blackie is my constant and ever faithful companion always willing to give me a good soaking each time I dare venture outside; he's my big black very personal cloud; his sister Gale is also ever present as she is today bending our trees and bushes just waiting for me to head up the garden with spade in hand which I'll be doing in a few minutes; if I don't go out to play then Gale tries to get in by doing her best to blow the entire bungalow from the valley side; it's the usual black hole this morning being dark and gloomy but with a scorching 8C forecast as an high for today; here is our forecast for today and surely it's wrong again; we are just east of The Pennines so spreading rumours that it's going to be fine for us is terrible building up our hopes. becoming breezy this afternoon??? Gale is already upon us.

We got up to cool weather and a ripping wind, which eventually calmed down. We had a high of 55 degrees today, and tomorrow is to be colder. The kittens stayed in their kitten shelter most of the day, only venturing out to dine and do the necessary. We have the heat lamps in the hen coops, ready to turn on if needed, and I made a big bouquet of roses, cutting them in case of frost. I'd rather have them inside to enjoy than frostbitten outside.

Morning all and @alp heavy rain at the moment. 12-7c. Snow showers tomorrow.
Hubby's just gone out to get the fruit and veg instead of tomorrow just in case we get snowed in. I don't know what his problem is, he's got 4 wheel drive. But once it was really bad,it was like a snow blizzard. Power cables came down.

Hi,

Blackie's back home Logan; he soaked everything again during the night and was here when I got up to welcome me to another dire day; he's now let up and it's fine but his sister Gale remains putting an icy blast up the valley side.

I think all our gardens will soon look alike?

Cold front coming thru and it's bringing a lot of rain for the first couple days, followed by high winds and bitter cold. But still not as bad as just a little north of me, this is why I live in Florida.

Morning all. Very very cold, snowed a bit. A light dusting. Paths are getting a bit slippy, had to walk in the road taking Barley out. Up our close is getting a bit dodgy. The sun doesn't get up there this time of year. Some of the other close's are the same.
