All quiet after yesterday's wind and rumble. Air is cold outside. 14 to 20c .. an autumnal feel.

Morning all, Sun's just coming up at 5.50.
Clear sky. @alp yes we're supposed to get a bit of summer here on Monday and Tuesday. Had heavy rain for 2 hours last night.

I'm all overcast here and it feels absolutely miserable. I have had no rain in the evening and during the time, the rain was nothing much, but the noise was horrible and cloud menacing.. a whimpering act .. not even 1/4 inch of rain to speak of.

Sunny days expected this week... Now mostly cloudy, 26°C / 79°F, 65% humidity. Feels comfortable.

Perfect day for bootsale .. Woke up at 3.30am. Air is fresh as neighbours were out. It was so dark that I told myself off - why didn't I use my potential and now had to do bootsales.. Why am I so greedy and am such a hoarder. It was about 16c, but for some reason, I couldn't generate heat and was shivering in the morning. Later, when the sun was out at about 10am, it was truly lovely - nothing was better than being caressed by 19c sun .. with a slight breeze .. I almost fell asleep.

Mild but autumnal 16c to 20c - and I can still hear the rain water remnant dripping from my broken gutter above my lean-to. Thank heavens for the timely drinks for my plants and arid back and front gardens.

Normal warm and muggy late summer day in Michigan. Sadly it might be too cloudy later on to get a good view of the eclipse! About 80 percent here.

Will be warm today and an 80% solar eclipse will start in about three and a half hours. Will be out feeding birds and not looking directly at the sun. Should be interesting to see if the birds react to the eclipse.

That's a shame. It's the big news today .. apart from the Spanish terrorist being shot at. I have seen only one such event. Hope you get a good view..
