Very odd for this time of year. For the past several days the overnight low has been in the upper 60's and the high of the day only in the 80's. 3 days now of comfortable weather.

Another day with plenty of rain.
I planted a few dianthus but I did not water them. The rain started again and watered them.

We got hit again with severe weather yesterday afternoon. I knew thunderstorms were predicted so I had taken the trash cans in and lowered the flags. When I had finished, my fire department radio went off and informed of a “bow echo” spotted on radar. I went out and started moving my bonsai trees into my shed. There wasn’t a breeze at the time. I was about half finished when I heard the wind coming through the woods. Several of my bonsai got blown off the benches. The wind destroyed my tomatoes and knocked several of my wife’s potted plants over. It bent one of my ham radio antennas and brought down several tree branches. It pretty much stripped my Walnut tree of the immature nuts. The lawn furniture was fine but moved from the back yard to the front yard. This has been a crazy year weather wise.
