We're feed the neighbours cat while she's away at her gite getting it ready for the holiday people,
Its a lovely cat at hides in the barn until she hears one of us calling her ,and then she's around your legs purring away,
"feed me feed me"
for ages we we're getting dead mice left by our post box and couldnt understand who or what was leaving these mice ,
But we've an idea now.

Well its a dull day and a bit cooler,
Just back from our "WALKIES" down by the river, as we walk along a path that passes the woods we 're near to a field full of young cow's and when they see us these cows come running over to the fence and walk on their side until they have to stop as the field ends just there,

We continue out of sight and down to the river and then start the return walk back to the field, The cows are still stood waiting for our arrival and walk with us until they're at the far end of the field and just watch us walking away,

A lovely sight "nature as it should be".

No matter where you live, what's your weather like today.
Here in the UK, Redditch west Midlands, it's sunny intervals warm and dry.
Morning manure lovers,
Well what a day "it's p!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ouring down, that very misty rain, or as my old irish gran would say "the wet stuff"
And so im thinking of hiding in the workshop so (she who must be obeyed) cant hire me as a bag lifter around the supermarket :cautious: :cautious: :cautious: :cautious:
it really is annoying this wet weather when you've so much to do and want to do, But thats gardening for you,
Ive decided to do a blog to chuck ref MANURE englidh style as we seem to be singing from different hymn books ref this subjec
So if your wanting an in depth read ref manure and how the stuff differs HOT/COLD then take a look later on today.

Have a nice day folks (if your a duck you'll love this weather quack quack.:)

Hi Logan, and paws,
It's yet another wet one here today, and its a day out to the local (11miles away) garden indoor fete,
so i'll be in happy land while im looking at the rusty stalls (old tools and stuff) "her indoors "likes the likes of womens stuff, vase's and glass things,
Sometimes the plants can be ok but im never in to much of a rush to buy,
They really have to show signs of being grown in good conditions ie plenty of roots and looking like they once lived,
Well i'll tell you about it all later,
Good gardening to you all and quack quack to those enjoying the wet wet May. :)

Thank you for good wishes for the garden fete,:oops::oops:
After driving to this little french village the" world forgot"
and in that drizzling showery rain we parked next to the dead centre of the village,

"The cemitary"

I notice we we're the only signs of life "ie no car's or live souls tobe seen"
We walked to the place the Fete was to be in "The village Hall, also the band practice hall & the young mothers (learn how to be a mother meeting groups rooms)
But no signs of any "FETE" and the only signs of fresh growth was the attemp via nature to grow a lawn in the guttering,
Very nice attempt as the grass nelt over the gutter and the rains water gushed down like a romantic water fall.

The Fete had been cancelled that morning when only two stall holders turned up, So we we're told, (1) selling fancy walking sticks
(2) selling bottle tops,
This is" I think" A french collecting thing, they're like tin bottle tops off beer bottles "the type you need a bottle opener to get them off,
Very popular here in france (christ only knows why)

And so having thanked this man i thought was part of the committee but turned out to just want to use the loo's,

we walked back to the car and drove home enjoying the old french houses you could see on our way back to our home,

As we drove onto our drive way we had a smashing sight, 3 heads looking at us through the french doors window's "all tails wagging"

It's still raining now:(

And it's a misty morning here, dew hanging off the archway tunnel and the rose bush is just waiting for that one hot day and it'll burst into flower, sometime later this week (we hope)
All three dogs have had their morning rub against one of the box hedging border walls, (they do this every morn it's sort of their light morning shower followed by a lawn roll).
