Thank you Colin but it's miserable here as well. But it is light enough without having the lights on. It's very windy more than what they say, got to walk the boys in 15 minutes. Have a good day. :)

Hi,

A typical Yorkshire day; both Blackie and Gale are enjoying themselves; Blackie has put down the rain he's been saving for the last few weeks whilst his sister Gale is still trying to remove everything from the valley side; I wrapped up well and ventured part way up the mountain early this morning being surprised the bungalow roof was still in position; just two small branches to collect then back indoors after the soaking; I was only out a few minutes but horizontal rain has a good wetting factor. :)

No workshop for me today; I can't be bothered getting more soakings and being blown around; its also quite dark.

Kind regards, Colin.

Good heavens, we had snow! Fortunately it melted off the patio quickly when I let loose with a stream of invective that would set an ice cube on fire. It's cold, wet, and ugly. The cats are not happy, the hens don't much care (they are in their inside coop and have feathers for insulation) and I have to repent for language used when I saw a skiff of snow.
We should be planting peas and lettuce, not looking at nasty white stuff on the ground. At least it is melting now--we are up to 35 degrees. This is NOT the Texas we moved to.
